Zoe looked at the big red letters on the building. "Ralphs" it said. She looked down at the sliding door entrance and walked towards it. This was her moment to find the perfect watermelon.
She wandered away from her mom and started searching, and found her way into the fish aisle, which smelled terrible. She ran away , cold, and resumed her search for the best watermelon.
"Huh... The fruit section". She thought out loud. She went down the aisle and looked through all the different products, but there was no watermelon to be seen. But this isn't where she gave up- Zoe kept on searching, and she wouldn't rest until the perfect watermelon was in her hands.
She just then realized something. Something... important. "Oh my gosh watermelons are in the front of the store in a huge cardboard box why the hecc didn't I see them." She ran towards the front of the store, filled with determination.
And there they were. Perfectly oval and green watermelons, all piled up together in a weird cardboard box they made using ripped up smaller boxes. But... which one would be chosen by Zoe tonight?
The first one she picked up was more round than the rest, and smaller. It wasn't too heavy, and it had no yellow splotch. Disappointed, Zoe returned to scanning the other watermelons. The next watermelon was huge, with a yellow splotch, but had a dull sound when she thumped it, and wasn't heavy. But the third- the third watermelon was huge, had a yellow splotch, was heavy, AND had a hollow sound!
"Oh my GOD" Zoe cried. She took the watermelon into her arms and carressed it. "IT'S PERFECT!" Zoe ran throughout the store excitedly and met back up with her mom. The two went back to a check out and rang up the watermelon. It was hers, and only hers. Zoe had truly found the most perfect of watermelons.
The two went back home and the watermelon lived a happy life.
And then was eaten.
