Emerald green plants sparkled all around Tatiana as she walked through. Wine-stained roses laid somewhat abandoned on the moss covered ground. The canary yellow lilies soon followed. The indigo sky reminded Tatiana of the reality of how late it was. As well as the hum of the electric fireflies, who were ruling the night. Being in this special forest made Tatiana forget time, and when she remembered, she didn't care. As she walked alone deeper into the forest, the intoxicating moss smell along with breathing the pure oxygen wrapped around Tatiana like a ribbon.
However, for the first time as Tatiana walked through the enchanting forest, her olive eyes noticed all the little cracks in the forest. Such as the charcoal black color of the trees from which emerald green leafs hung. As Tatiana walk father she felt the unevenness of the earth below her feet. All the fresh buds on the charcoal black trees were starting to bug Tatiana's eyes.
Tatiana stopped a hundred steps from her final destination. The fireflies hummed, the owls around the forest were starting to howl, and the air was starting to turn bitter. Tatiana could feel the presence of Paige as she closed her eyes. She brought Paige here all the time when they were together. Since Paige left Tatiana a month ago, this was Tatiana's first trip back to the forest without Paige, and alone in months. Paige had taken almost everything from Tatiana and then left her. My heart, my money, my car, and my double-crossing friend.
Tatiana gazed out at the forest in front of her. Paige took almost everything, but she sure as hell wasn't going to poison this forest for Tatiana. Tatiana started to slowly and gracefully walk to her final destination. Tatiana had erased every part of Paige from her life, except this spot. She knew that's why she was noticing all the little cracks in the forest.
Seeing the crystal blue lagoon made Tatiana's scarlet colored lips smile. Time to reclaim my forest. Tatiana walked till she reached the beginning of the lagoon. Kaleidoscopic light from the moon was hitting the water, making Tatiana have a translucent reflection, along with the smoky moon's reflection. On top of the water was a single lily pad with a single juniper colored frog perched on it. The frog looked confident, peaceful, and as if they were staring right at Tatiana. She almost smiled, taking it as a sign. The blood red eyes of the frog were almost hypnotic, pulling Tatiana in.
Focus Tatiana's mind told her. Tatiana had one job to do before she got wrapped up in the time paralyzing pure magic of this place. She turned away from the lagoon and walked seventeen steps left to where the big spruce tree was. With a sly smile, Tatiana took out a knife from her skirt pocket and started to erase her and Paige's initials.
Twenty minutes later Tatiana's job was done. She sat down on the moss cover ground, again not caring about the time or the fact that her bum was wet. She rested her head against the divine tree. The intoxicating smell and air wrapped around Tatiana once again. The hum coming from the dancing fireflies filled Tatiana's ears, as well as the soft wooing of the owls. The queen had reclaimed her magical forest. And to make sure Tatiana nor anybody else didn't forget that, above her and Paige's scribbled out initials she craved in Queen Tatiana.
