Darrian's P.O.V
DARRIAN! PICK UP THE PHONE! DARRIAN! PICK UP THE PHONE! DARRIAN! PICK UP THE PHONE!
I grab my cell phone off my bed, knowing exactly who's calling.
"Hey ice prince. What's up?"
"Hi flame brain. Wanna come over for the night?" Caitlin, my best friend says from the other end of the line.
"Does that mean...?" I ask, already knowing the answer.
"ANIME MARATHON!!" We squeal at the same time.
"I'll be right over." I say before hanging up. The perks of your best friend living next door.
"I'm going over to Caitlin's for the night." I call out for general knowledge.
"Okay! See you tomorrow!" My mum calls out, answering me.
I don't even need to pack. We have stuff that stays at each other's houses.
I walk out the front door and jump over the fence that devides our properties.
I skip over to the front door. Most people would knock, ring the door bell, or even text. But I'm not most people.
I throw the door open and bellow,
"I'm home!"
"Hey Darrian." Caitlin's mum says. "Caitlin's in her room."
"Okay~!" I say happily. We get to watch anime! ~(^u^)~
I skip ove to Caitlin's room.
Then suddenly I hear a crash.
Caitlin's P.O.V
I'm trying to reach a certain anime DVD in my bookcase of anime DVDs and manga.
"Ugh. Why does it have to be at the top?"
*Flashback*
"Let's put it at the top, because it's the best anime ever!" I say enthusiactically.
"Are you sure? You might have a hard time getting it down later.." Darrian says sweatdropping.
"It'll be fine!" I say, putting the DVD at the top.
Present time
"Well damn it."
I get hold of it and pull with all my might.
CRASH
I fall off the step ladder with the contents of the book case on top of me.
Darrian's P.O.V
I open the door to see Caitlin on the floor, with the contents of the bookcase on top of her.
"Bwhahahahahahahahahahah!" She looks ridiculous.
Then suddenly an arm sticks out of the pile of anime DVDs and manga, holding the first season omnibus of Fairy Tail.
"I got it!"
TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY DARRIAN.
"Excuse me mam, but ca I borrow your underwear?" Caitlin says along with Gray on the DVD.
"You're so weird-" I cut off myself by saying,
"If we're going to fight, put some clothes on first!" I say at the same time as Natsu.
"Who's the weird one?" Caitlin snickers.
"Shutup." I mutter. But I can't hide the smile creeping onto my face.
We both know the first season of Fairy Tail pretty much off by heart.
The next thing I know, we've finished the first season and Caitlin's mum is yelling at us to go to bed.
We check the time and see it's 3:32am.
"You know..." Caitlin starts.
"Hmmm?"
"An anime marathon isn't the only reason I asked you over tonight.."
"What do you mean?" I ask genuinely confused.
"They'res a shooting star shower tonight at 3:33am"
"Oh wow! Let's mae a wish each!" I say excitedly.
Caitlin opens her curtains to reveal the night sky covered in shooting stars.
"Let's make a wish at the same time." Caitlin says happily.
"Okay!" I say closed-eye smiling.
"Three, two, one!" We count down together.
"I wish I could go somewhere where I'm accepted for who I am." We say at the same time.
"Jinx!" We say at the same time again.
"Double jinx!"
"Triple jinx!"
"Let's stop." Caitlin says.
"Ha ha! I won!" I say, gloating about my win. "You owe me a soda!"
"Fine." She says, surprising me. Why would she comply...? She never does...
She tosses me a soda and I pull the cap. Making the shaken up soda spray all over my face.
"Why you-!" I scream, running after her with blood lust.
*Later that night*
"I hate you." Caitlin mutters to me, while I sit there with a satisfied smirk on my face.
"Love you too." I say with a grin.
"I still can't believe you did that." She says, trying to scrub the remaining soda from her hair.
"You deserved it." I sneer at her. She started it.
"Let's just go to sleep." She mutters.
"Good idea." I say, laying down on my side of the huge king sized bed, with a victorious smirk plain on my face.
