I need to calm down. I need to think. I heard them talking to Ric. Now, wait? Why they know that Ric is my husband? They even asked him ransom? Ibigay kaya ni Ric? He does not care anymore. We are divorced. It made me sick now.
Sino kaya ang pasyente? Kilala ko ba sya? Bakit naman sila nang hihingi ng ransom. It's a puzzle. Kailangan ko malaman. Hay! I need to find out sooner. I need to act and agree with them. Nagulat ako ng biglang bumukas ang pinto. Oh my, I could not believe this...

Ric's POV
"Pare, relax ka lang." Aro said.
"Pare, it's easy for you to say that. 24 hours ng nawala si Keren. Time is running, man. I need to find her." Sagot ko as I clenched my jaw.
"Son, we are doing our best to find, Keren. I am sure she is alright. Ipagdasal natin na she is doing okay, I already talked to Mr. Park. He is also frantic. His men already working on the details that will take us to the lead of finding your wi--.." my dad said calmly and cut the word wife as he is also careful that others in the room would hear. But, I don't give a damn now! For all I care is Keren's safety. I am worried sick now! Deep inside me admits that I will die without her..my life will be meaningless without her. It took me 5 years to admit and put my ego down the ground. Dammit!
Biglang naputol ang pag iisip ko when I heard my cellphone ringing with an unknown number.
"Hello!" Sagot ko and I pressed the loud speaker button and tap the wirings to locate the specific place of the caller.
"Ric Han, makinig kang mabuti,bukas ng hatinggabi pumunta ka along with medical supplies and the ransom money sa rooftop ng 21st Avenue Hotel. No police or we will kill your wife." I listened and balled my fists.
"Paano ako makakasiguro na ligtas si Keren? Gusto kong marinig boses niya. Gusto ko sya maka usap!" Sabi ko ng marahan at mahinahon na boses.
"Walang problema, ibigay ko sa kanya ang phone. 5 mins only."
"Keren? Kamusta ka?"
"Ric, don't worry, I'm still alive. Kailangan mo rin mag ingat and huwag kang makinig sa lahat ng sasabin nil----" naputol ang sasabihin ni Keren ng bawiin sa kanya ang phone.
"Five minutes is up, lovebirds! Ric Han, kailangan mong sundin lahat ng sasabihin ko. Bukas ng hating Gabi." Call ended.
"Nakuha nyo? Kailangan natin bilisan!" Sigaw ko. Galit na galit ako. I'm shaking! I do not like this.
"Prepare nyo lahat ng hiling nila.wala na tayong oras."

I'm on board now in our chopper with all they needed. Aro let me wear one of his weapons. The recorder, camera in my eyeglasses, weapons to rescue Keren and pistol. Everything in my suit is for the rescue.
I can't wait to see Karen. I'm sure she is so terrified now. I want to be with her. I need to let her know that I love her and I am willing to wait for another chance. I cannot live without her..

Keren's POV
He towered in front of me. His scent is so familiar. His voice.
"Keren, you need to cooperate. I will not leave you any choice. Huwag kang mag alala darating ang asawa mo or should I.say your ex husband. So ironic, he has to save you. Is that fate?
Well, it's not about your romance story now. I do not allow it also. Pero kailangan ko ang pera niya. Pagdating ng supply, kailangan na natin operahan ang pasyente. Marami kang makakasamang doctor." He said it with confident voice. I know him!
"You mean marami kayong nakumbinsi or nakidnap na doctor na makikiisa sa illegal nyong gawain? At kahit takpan mo ang mukha mo, Doc, kilala kita. Alam mong di ito tama!" I said it sarcastically.
Tinanggal niya mask niya at lumapit sya sa akin. Mafeel ko ang hininga niya sa mukha ko.
"At anong tama, Keren? Ang pabayaan mong mamatay ang taong mahal mo?" He hold both my shoulder leaned down to whisper to my ear and kiss my cheek. I am shocked!
I pushed him away but he snaked his hands in my slim waist.
"Bitawan mo ako, Lucas!" I cried and shaking...
He raised his hands in surrender and went out.
Lucas Santiago is one of the great orthopedics I meet in Italy. He is a Filipino. He is a good friend. He supported me when I was nursing my broken marriage and my broken heart! He did not deny his interests to me and would like to let others know that he wants me so badly. I keep on telling him that I am not ready for any relationship.
Lucas is hot, sexy and intelligent but not as hot and sexy as my husband, shit, why I am thinking about my ex husband? Why I keep on comparing him to other guys? Keren you are in a serious situation and you are thinking of any romance..it's a shame!

I need to sleep now. I need to freshen up for Ric, shit! I smacked my head. Keren Park, I think you are crazy.. you are like a hormonal teenager excited to see your crush. My inner self is talking to me now. Dammit! What is wrong with me. Girl, you missed him so much. And believe it or not, you missed his lips, his touch...Urgh, my inner self is right!
I need to tell Ric. I need to tell him that I love him. Past is past. We.Can start again. I am.Willing to try and.take the risk.

I went to the bathroom. This room is not bad at all. The bathroom is clean and all I need are here. Thank God I have extra undies when I was kidnapped. I took my time taking shower to ease all the tension. I went out of the room and surprise to see a lady nurse bringing a scrub suit and lab gown and rubber shoes and hair cap, mask, etc.
"Dr.Keren, I am Stacey. I will be the nurse to assist you. Dr. Lucas sent me here. Please call me if you needed something. I will be at the adjacent room. " she smiled but looked down. Avoiding eye contact.
"Thank you, Stacey. I take a nap. I am so tired." She nodded and went out.
I let out a long sigh! Days are getting by. I get my journal notebook and write everything I felt. Things needed to do. And dozed off to sleep.
Somebody is calling me and I suddenly sit up.
It's Stacey.
"Dr. Park, it's time."
"Its time for what?" Tanong ko sa kanya.Naalimpungatan pa ako. Nangawit katawan ko.
"Dr. Park, it's time for you to go to the operating room of Code Blue and prepare the patient for his operation."
