That Liar

Marinette's POV

"Hey, Marinette!"

"What do you want, Lila?"
I said in a serious tone. I don't want to deal with her today.

"Ladybug embarrassed me in front of Adrien, called me a liar, and ruined my life. Now nobody trusts me..."

Her voice sounded sincere. I didn't know that was possible. She's probably just trying to find out something embarrassing about me, and use it against me to humiliate me as well.

"...and I was hoping you and me could get along, be friends. I've... never really had someone to trust before. I know you like Adrien-"

"Not anymore."

"O-Oh, really? What happened?"

She seemed like she cared, or was at least trying to.

"I told him my feelings, and he told me he liked someone else"

"That's rough"

"Meh, I was kinda expecting it anyway"

"So, friends?"

She stuck out her hand for me to shake it. She had a sincere smile on her face, so I think I can trust her.

"Friends."

And then I shook her hand.

"Can't wait to see you tomorrow, have a nice day!"

"Bye!"

She walked away with a spring in her step.

'Well she seemed nice, Tikki'

'I don't know, Marinette, she still seems suspicious.'

'But she seemed like she wanted to be friends'

'I never said I knew for sure.'

Third person POV

Marinette continued to walk down the street, but back in the direction of her home.

"Mari!"

"Chat?"

"Ca-Can I-I talk to you for a sec?"

"Uh, sure kitty. What about?"

Chat pulled her into a dark alleyway.

"Thi-This may sound, REALLY crazy, but stick with me."

"O-Okay,"

"I..."

Chat hesitated for a moment, trying to figure out how he was going to tell the sweet, understanding girl in front of him.

"I'm not the same Chat Noir that you know."

"What?!?"

"I'm from another dimension."

?Chat Noir's? POV

I figured the best way to tell her was to give it to her straight.

"I was watching you earlier, with this dimension's Chat Noir, and things must have not gone well with you, as ladybug, and him?"

"H-How do you know who I am?!?"

"Well one; it's kinda obvious, and two; the dimension that I'm from, me and Ladybug already revealed our identities."

"O-Oh."

"Look, I don't know how to get back to my dimension. I fell through a portal mid-battle and I don't know how to get back."
