Cagney x Hilda .•{ Up AU }•.

.•° Friendship °•.

{ Quick note before I start this story, not everything will be exactly like Up, like sayings and such but I will make sure to make this like the Disney story everybody loves and remembers ♡ }

   It was a typical warm sunny day, Cagney was out playing. He loved pretending to be an explore, sometimes a pilot; both pleased him.
He held a balloon at hand and ran around with a happy spirit until he came across an old abandoned house. It was an old shady house that looked like it hasn't been touched in years, the paint on the walls was chipped but this just made Cagney want to explore it. Once inside, he heard a strange noise, coming from the second floor? Curious, Cagney went up the stairs but was shocked at what he saw. A small little girl possibly the same age as him. She wore a pinm like dress with pilots hat and seemed like she planned an adventure of her own. Cagney tried getting closer until the floor creaked when he made another step, the girl turned around which frightened Cagney causing him to let go of his balloon. The girl gave him a puzzled look. "What are you doing here bucko? This is my airship!"
   Cagney didn't say a word, the little girl looked up and noticed the balloon. "Ohhh that's yours? You can get it back!"
   She led him to the attic where the balloon was waiting. She gave a big smile and pointed the balloon at him. "Just cross the plank carefully and you'll get your balloon in no time"
   Cagney gulped and did as she said, he looked down the big whole and saw the room they were just in bellow him. Of course he cheered for himself since he made it halfway to his balloon as did the girl. Once he took another step. . . *B A M* he feel and fractured his arm, he was then taken to the hospital.

   It was now pretty late and Cagney arrived home with a cast on his arm, he went straight to his bed and tucked himself in until he heard something slightly hit his window. He got up and noticed it was a balloon, the odd little girl was there too. "Heya!"
   Cagney let her in and grabbed the balloon. "So what happened back at the ol' airship, that was pretty tough of you to do"
   As an easy answer Cagney stayed quiet. The girl looked around Cagney's room and noticed a bold magazine.
She went towards it and grabbed it. "Pilot and Explore Dice! He's my idol!"
   Cagney smiled with agreement, they both looked at the magazine together noticing they're both very alike. The girl finally got up, "I just remembered i forgot to properly introduce myself! My name is Hilda, Hilda Berg or future pilot Berg" she gave him a toothy grin and put her hand out for him to shake.
   Cagney shook her hand and as always stayed quiet. "Quiet, just the way I like it. You're cool you know... Well see you later!" With that she left.
   Cagney stood there flustered but he felt great that he had a new friend, someone exactly like him.
