Tony Stark

We walked through the streets of New York before finally coming to Stark Tower. The building was huge, almost as big as Stark's ego. Almost.

Tony and I had met once before. I was at a charity event hosted by him. I was originally there for S.H.I.E.L.D to get as much information on Tony as possible to see if he really has changed his ways as he claims he has. He hasn't.

He was rude and flirty and completely inappropriate. Tony Stark has always had feelings for me. I don't feel the same way, I feel the opposite.

Phil and I rode the elevator after trying to call him but getting no where with that. We stepped out of the elevator and saw Tony with another woman. Looks like he finally got over me.

The woman was tall and skinny, with strawberry blonde hair. She was very pretty. Probably another one of Tony's 'girlfriends'. He's slept with more women than I can count.

"Phil!" She said, pulling away from Tony and walking towards us.

"Phil? His first name is Agent." Tony said, being the smart person he is. I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"I don't believe we've met, I'm Pepper Potts, Tony's assistant." She said offering her hand out. I took it and replied "I'm Stephanie Garabrandt, agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nice to meet you Miss Potts."

"Stephanie? Is that you? The Stephanie from the charity event?" Tony asked.

I sighed and replied, glaring at him. "Yes, Tony, it's me."

He laughed and said, "long time no see, hot stuff! You haven't changed a bit!" I rolled my eyes at this. Pepper stared at Tony.

"Is this another one of your girlfriends?"

I nearly puked at her words. Me? With Tony? No way! "No! God, no! I met him at a charity event and he took a liking to me. Needless to say, I didn't feel the same way."

Pepper's face seemed to switch from anger to relief in under a second.

"Anyway," Phil said, interrupting our little reunion. "We are here with a mission." Phil handed him an electronic file.

"Is this about the Avengers?" Pepper asked. I looked at her in shock, how did she know about the Avengers? That was supposed to be top secret. Tony probably couldn't keep his big mouth shut.

"Which I know nothing about." She said quickly, noticing my surprised expression.

"And besides, I didn't even qualify." Tony said, sounding annoyed. He walked over to his desk with the file.

"I didn't know that either," Pepper said.

"Apparently I'm volatile, self obsessed, don't play well with others," Tony said.

"I knew that!" I added. Pepper chuckled at my comment while Tony pulled up the file on his desk. Tony and Pepper were talking about something amongst themselves. I turned to Phil and said, "are we done here?"

"I believe we are." He responded and we turned and left the tower.
