(Song Jiyoung's POV)

"Miss, you need to get inside the car." Said Daniel, the main butler.

"I can drive by myself." I told him and continued walking to my car.

"Your father specifically ordered me to drive you to school." Daniel continued.

I turn around and face the butler. "Daniel, I order you to go tell my father that I'm not a kid anymore and I'm old enough to drive."

He sighed irritatedly as I enter my car.

I insert the key and turn on the engine. The passenger's door suddenly open before Daniel entered the car.

"What are you doing?" I asked him with wide eyes.

"Go ahead and drive. I just can't leave you by yourself." He put on the seatbelt and crossed his arms.

"Yah, get out." I said.

"No, I can't." He replied while facing forward.

"Kang Daniel!"

"Song Jiyoung! I almost got fired last time I let you drive. And you almost died!" He finally looked at me.

Daniel is only a year older than I am and he basically grew up with me. His dad, my family's former main butler, passed away three years ago. Now Daniel became the main butler of the family while his mom is still our trustworthy cook.

"Jiyoung, I'm talking as your butler and as your best friend. Until I teach you how to drive better, let me drive you to school." He placed a hand on my shoulder and spoke.

"Alright." I gave in and let Daniel took over the wheel.

"I'll pick you up later." He said after the car halted.

"Okay." I stepped out of the car and many people already gave me their attention.

Absolutely normal for a daughter of a famous businessman.

"Hey, that's Daniel." Some girls had already started to swoon over Daniel.

I waved my hand, telling him to leave quickly.

Daniel is indeed very handsome and charming. He's tall, has extremely broad shoulders and handsome face.

I sure don't have a crush on him.

"Jiyoungieeee!" A voice called me.

Soon I was attacked by my own best friends, Lina and Sohye.

"You guys are so loud." I laughed.

"Hey, Lina is the loud one, not me." Sohye protested.

"Hehe." Lina smiled sheepishly.

"I've been listening to BTS old songs and constantly getting emo." Sohye sobbed.

"They haven't had any group schedules for two years due to the members enlisted in the army." Lina pouted.

"Jhope is leaving soon." She continued to 'cry' over her bias going into the army.

"Tae is leaving next year or so." Sohye followed Lina.

"Can't relate. My bias is already back." I said as I do a little dance, earning glares from the pair.
