Covering the pit with moss, Jim sighs  He has gotten hinself in bad trouble. He has finally put his plan on action and robbed the bank. If everything goes as planned, it would solve all his problems. The plan is that after the police stops investigating the case, and if he is lucky and don't get caught, he would return and get the money. After that, he won't be ever seen again. He will move to another country and leave all the debt and toxic relationships behind.

Finally, he fled from the cache, making sure that no footprints or other evidence is left behind. He returns to his bicycle, which he has hidden in the bushes by the road. Just when Jim has got out of the bushes, he freezes. There is someone walking on the road and they're slowing down. He has been caught.

"Everything okay, young man? Are you lost?", says the voice whose owner is a really old man.
" No, I'm not lost. I just...", he says and reaches out for his backpack. He nervously takes out his alibi; A book on birds and binoculars. " I thought that it would be great time to search for owls, you know?"
"I see. I'm glad that a young man like you has some other hobbies than video games." the man says with sense of relief in his voice.
"Yeah" Jim laughs it off, passing by the old man. "Good night!"

Leaving the man behind, Jim continues to make his way back home. He's so nervous after the last incident, that it feels like his heart is about to burst out of his chest. After riding half of a mile, he crosses thie bride that goes over the river that separates the forest from the city. He feels it's all over, that he is free, but in reality the waiting is just about to start. It will take time before it's save for him yo finally leave. He must be patient. Sighing, he disappears into the night.

I wrote this originally as an essay for school. But I thought that it ended up being an good story so I decided to post this here.
Fun fact: Originally I thought that he would have been burying wuld have been a dead body, but it wouldn't have been something I can give back to the teacher 😂😂
