I didn't missed it! I really saw a tear from her eyes when she walked passed me. I felt a prick in my heart when I noticed it. She's hurt!

I was about to follow her when Yrish called me.

"Your Highness!" She stood in front of me. "I respect you and follow your orders but for now, I suggest, you should not follow her. She said the rumor is not true and I believe her. If you follow her and be with her always, the citizens will talk about the two of you even more." She said and inclined her head.

She's right. I really want to chase her and comfort her but Yrish has a point. I will just worsen the false rumor.

I nodded at her and glared at Grezza. I heard everything she said earlier to Sparkly. She stood up and flew out through the balcony. I went in and talked to the remaining fairies.

"I want you to find out who started this false rumor. Is that clear?" I said.

"Yes, Your Highness!" They answered.

"Yrish and Kela--"

"We'll talk to her." Kela cutted me.

I nodded. How did she know I wanted them to go and see Sparkly? Well, I think females are like that. They know how females feel.

"Your Highness!"

We all looked at the soldier who came in.

"There's another killing in the town." He reported.

What? Another killing? It happened consecutively.

The investigation team quickly flew out of the palace. I remembered Sparkly. I'm sure she went there on her own again.

Damn!

I followed them out of the palace. When I arrived at the place where it happened, I saw Sparkly. I knew it! Kela and Yrish dragged her away from the crime scene but she struggled away from them and faced them. I walked towards them, forgetting the rumor.

"I saw the killer!" She said.

All of us got surprised.

"Did the killer saw you?" I asked worriedly.

If she saw the killer, the killer might target her next.

She shook her head. I sighed for relief.

"Let's talk about this in the palace." I said.

We all flew back to the palace, leaving the soldiers in the town. Grezza is the only one who is not here.

"Tell us what you saw, Sparkly!" Bryx said.

I sat on the chair and all of them did the same except for Sparkly.

"I was heading to my house when I heard a scream. I instantly flew towards the scream. I still didn't see the victim but I heard a voice saying, 'Not you!' in a mad tone. I arrived and saw someone wearing a black cloak. I haven't seen the face because I was on the killers back. But with the voice and the posture, the killer is a male. I was about to attack him when he disappeared so quick." She said.
