David Ross was an Italian-American, a millionaire, and one of the founders of the Behavioral Analysis Unit. He had what everyone wanted, everyone thought he had everything but he didn't. He had the best material objects but he didn't have true love, something he had wanted for years but everytime he seemed to grasp it, it was lost. He thought me had his true love at one point but she committed suicide upon finding out she had a type of cancer. About two years later David met a girl, the newest member to the B.A.U. Her name was Eve and she had a brother in the B.A.U named Slade, so he already knew a bit about her, but upon meeting her he was stunned by the intelligence and beauty she displayed. She was so different from the other women he had met, though many thought it was a bad thing he thought it was great because she wasn't like everyone else.
Eve tilts her head, holding out her hand.
"Agent Rossi, aren't you going to shake nt hans back like usual?" She asks confused.
David snaps out of his thoughts and looks down at Eve. "Oh... I apologize, I was uh, I was remembering something..." He mumbles as he shakes her hand gently before pulling it away.
"Is it possible you'll be free tonight, I have two tickets to the opera but only myself to go with?" He asks putting his hands into his head pockets.
A faint blush covered Eve's face as she nodded.
"Ye-Yes, I'd like that." She mumbles twiddling her thumbs.
Rossi smiles just a bit as he pulls out a ticket handing it to Eve.
"Good, I'll pick you up at 6:00, wear something nice." He says patting her back and walking off.
~A Few Hours Later~
Rossi was holding Eve's hand, walking her to her car after the opera had finished, though surprise barked his face as he felt Eve kiss his lips gently.
"I-I, I like you! I know I'm younger than you but I really like yo-you. Would you be my boyfriend?" Eve same Rossi nervously as she unconsciously bites her bottom lip.
Rossi nods as he leans in, kissing her gently, his arms around her waist.
Eve shyly kissed back as her arms wrapped around his neck, embarrassed but happy none the less.
~A Few Months Later~
Rossi and Eve had been dating for a few months after their date at the opera and getting permission from their bossre but they had been fighting more often as of late because of rumors that surrounded the ahead difference between the two of people saying Eve just wanted his money.
"David! I already told you I love you, I don't care about how much money you have, I care about you!" Eve exclaims, her hands on her hips as she narrows her eyes looking at Rossi.
"How can I believe that?! You're always with Hotchner despite the fact I'm your boyfriend! I feel like I'm just your personal bank!" He growls out annoyed.
Eve flinces at the growl but glares.
"You know that isn't true because everything I've got from you I didn't ask for, I asked you for a dollar and fifty cents one time because I wanted to buy a tea from a vending machine and I forgot my money, and as soon as I could I paid you back!" She says crosding her arms over her chest.
"You haven't done anything to prove you love me for more than my money either though!" Rossi says with a tch as he crosses his arms.
Eve teared up as she glared at him, her eyes turning cold.
"I've been through too much to willingly cause an innocent person pain... For you to even think that...." Eve trailed off as she took a shaky breath. "We're through David, if you really think I'm that bad then I can't be with you." Eve says shakily as she left, slamming the door to Rossi's office behind her.
Rossi paled, but he wasn't sure what else to do, whether he should go after her or wait for Eve to calm down from the fight they had just had.
~A Few Months Later~
After a few momths of Eve and Rossi being sepetated, Rossi had become depressed, missing Eve terribly. She avoided him at work and mobed out of their shared house. Every night Rossi fell asleep alone, his bed cold and big, and only for him. One day Rossi ran into Eve and pinned her.
"We need to talk..." He mumbles.
"No we don't, you made or clearly how you felt so I'm making it clear we're through." Eve mumbles as she looks away, trying to hide the tears that had formed in her eyes. The months they were apart had been rough on her too, it was noticeable by the Greg bags due to lack of sleep around her eyes and the at least twenty pounds or more weight loss.
"Eve... I'm sorry for everything I said, I love you and I didn't meant what I said. I know you wouldn't use me, you aren't that kind of girl, but I was so stressed that I took my stress and insecurities I was facing out on you. I was afraid you were too good to be true or that I was going to lose you because I lost everyone I lost before, my son, my wives, everything, and it all seemed to link back to me working here... I was afraid to lose you to this job like I did everyone... Please Eve... Please
... Don't leave me... Don't leave..." He mumbles weakly as he lays his forehead against hers.
Eve felt tears start falling down here cheeks as she hugged Rossi tightly, not wanting to let go.
"I-I, I forgive you! Please don't keep secrets between us, if you're worried about something please tell me, it'll help us underatand each other much better. I won't leave you if you won't leave me..." Eve says as she peers into his eyes with her tear filled orbs.
Rossi holds her close and looks back into her eyes softly.
"I won't leave you. I promise..." He says softly before connecting their lips into a padsionate kiss.
