Chloe POV:

We watched mum drive away in her snazzy, shiny grey Bentley, that just so happens to be the exact same model of car as Delta's. As soon as all that was left was her dust, we ran, shrieking in excitement, for the merchandise line. I have so much Delta merch, all the more reason for more! But I don't have nearly as much as Darcy does of her bands. I honestly don't know where she gets it all from, but sometimes, we'd get a massive package in the mail. I'd examine it curiously for a second before Darce would materialise out of nowhere and snatch the package away, retreating to her Darce-cave.

Heather and I joined the end of the line, which was long. "I wonder what's thereeeee." Heather jumped up and down saying something new every time she was in the air. The milk bottles from earlier were just kicking in. "T-shirts.... CD's... posters... OMG..."

I let her to fangirl, while I took out my phone. The voicemail from Darcy still flashed on the screen. I checked the line. We were gonna be here for a while.

"Hey Heat, I'm gonna check this voicemail, mind my spot, will ya?"

"Sure thing!" she nodded as I walked away a few metres from the line, getting away from the noise. My heart pounded against my ribs and I shakily unlocked my phone getting the passcode wrong twice because my hands were trembling.

"Hi Chloe, it's Darce. Ok, so basically, my friends, ugh, well, my group, of ... people, I dunno, they're making me feel weird, I guess. I like the guys, and everything, but they do some stuff that I aren't comfortable with. Look, I don't wanna ruin your night, but please, please Coey, let me talk to you when you get home. I had to let you know, and I couldn't exactly tell at home, that's all. BUT if you tell mum but, I'll kill you! Have fun sis." *beeeeeppp*

I kept my phone to my ear, telling myself that it was all a trick. That she was kidding. But the message was well and truly over but Darcy's voice kept echoing in mind.

Oh no, she brought out 'the names'. When we were little, we couldn't pronounce, well, anything. I was Coey (like Joey) and she was Dark. Mum often reminds us of the fact that we were so adorable, I always wonder if she is trying to get at that we aren't anymore. It's childhood memories like these that mum tells whenever we are at a dinner party and she just HAS to embarrass us, in front of all out family and friends.

I slowly wandered back to Heather, who was making frantic gestures at me; probably telling me to hurry up.

"CHLOE I NEED 2 BUCKS!"

Of course you do, I thought. Absentmindedly, I handed her a 2 dollar coin from my purse so she could pay for the Visualise Tour shirt [AN: Yes I know, my fanfic is set more recently than 2005, but I needed it to be somewhat realistic].

I couldn't concentrate as I paid for the tour CD and a shirt the same as Heathers. I fumbled with my cash, my head ached. I felt like I was gonna pass out, and not just because I was semi-claustrophobic, like Darcy, because the amount of people in here was insane. My twins words rang in my ears, the white noise around me fading into a blur.

I managed to successfully get my CD and shirt. Heather dragged me away from the merchandise table, into the main area where the concert would be held. The stage was set, people were finding their seats, getting there cameras ready, and food was being escorted around.

All my happiness, excitement and positiveness has been drained. Just gone. I kept looking at the ground, not making eye contact with anyone. Acting like I didn't want to be here at all.

Just before we collided with the seat guide lady, Heather came to a sudden halt and pulled me aside.

"What's up with you all of a sudden?" My best friend asked me, gently shaking my shoulder.

"Heather, it's Darcy."

AN: Yes, I know. I hardly call this long enough to be a chapter but I like leaving you guys on cliffhangers 😏
