"Oh, I was in the restroom...had some bad sushi.."
"So, you went to dinner without me?!" she yelled.
She stood up when she said this, now highly pissed.
"Oh no, I just went for a snack.. I'm still taking you out to dinner, dear."
"When?" she questioned, now with her hand on her hip.
"Tomorrow night, I promise."
"Why not tonight?"
"Paperwork."
"Already done."
"Umm..." Now, he was getting nervous. Wtf? She already did his paperwork for him?
"Umm... I have some other personal research paperwork to do."
"Huh...okay..." She was not happy with this, and looked stunned. Well, the entire world only revolved around her, or so she thought.
He finally managed to slip away undetected.. Lord effin' Christ! They are just so fucking nosey!
"Okay , now I can finally do what I need to do."
He slips into Michael's room. Michael is sound asleep. "Michael....Michael...wake up. It's time to do an MRI in the new machine! And, you get to be the first one to try it out! What'dya say?"
Michael slowly tosses and turns, until he finally turns over on his back to face the Professor. "Wha...? We never do it this late, do we?"
" Yes, sometimes we do. About three weeks ago, but we do it all in rotation. Now, it's your turn. But, we are going to do it in the new machine."
"Okay. Why are you whispering?"
"Because others are sleeping, and I don't want to disturb anyone."
Michael slowly sits up at his bed, and hops off. "Okay ."
Professor takes him to where he has the new MRI machine. He decides to move it to the room where the LHC is. He thought, "Well, how am I going to run the MRI machine and the HCL at the same time? "
This just logically makes more sense...Duh...So, he moves it int he other room. Michael asks him about it.."Why are we moving the MRI machine?"
"Because you will be part of a very special project that I am working on, and I need your help. So, say, you and I take this to the bigger room? I have a surprise for you. The MRI machine was already loaded onto a wheelie cart, for easy transport. "Whatever you say, Professor."
They both unplug it, and very carefully, haul it down the tunnel to the large underground bunker. "Please, place it over there, by the control desk, thank you."
"Whoa! What in the heck is that?!" yells out Michael.
"Shhh....Be quiet! It's an LHC....You'll see soon enough what it does."
