The sun had not yet risen over the hills, the grass was wet with morning dew, all four districts and the eight cabin were still cold, and empty, longing to be packed with students once again, having been empty for over one hundred years. Only six months ago had they all been overgrown or in the case of the two winter cabins, had been snowed in. after the weeds had been removed, the snow had been shoveled and all the furniture was either replaced or cleaned the cabins were ready for students once again.

For they served one purpose: to give shelter to the students enrolled at the Elemental Academy. The Academy had shut down during the Great Elemental War in 1913, it was deemed unsafe for everyone, kids and staff alike. It was now being reopened, the first year of students had already been chosen and would be arriving at around seven in the evening.

The young element wielders were already on their way, most were excited, others nervous, they would be attending this school for the next seven years of their lives, once they did they would finally be able to call themselves Master wielders. The Elemental Academy functions differently from other schools, however. Instead of having to attend at a certain age, students must attend the year they discover their Elemental ability, making some students as young as twelve, and others sixteen or even older. They would face many challenging classes, going from regular old class such as mathematics and science to elemental control and swordplay.

The sun had finally decided to peak over the hills of the autumn district. The districts were separated into four separate sections, there was summer, spring, autumn and winter. They each had two cabins in them. All for the different elements. You have Spirit, in the southern half of the autumn district for example. A true riverside lodge, with great stargazing views. Or as another example you have the Darkness cabin, a cabin styled after a Victorian age manor, in the western side of the valley, within the  winter district.

A bus full of noisy kids was heading to their new homes right now, they were seated depending on their element, there were two young fire wielders arguing, there yelling being heard through the entire bus.

There were the air wielders who were making friendly conversation throughout the long drive. The two spirit wielders sat in silence, awkward tension in the air. The bus driver was an old man, a messy moustache and a blue hat, signifying his element being water, he looked drained, having to sit and drive a bus full of noisy teens, although the front of the bus was rather pleasant, it were the fire, life and earth wielders that were making the most noise.

All of the teens were wearing the so called school uniform, it was really just a cape that signifies their element. The only differences, other than colour were that the Elements whose cabins were located in the Spring and Summer Districts had really short capes that came down to their hips, the Elements whose cabins were within the Autumn and Winter District would wear capes that went down to their ankles.

"I swear to god kid, my ten year old cousin is taller than you." a dark skinned lanky girl said, her shortish hair was tied back in two short ponytails, her legs were covered in red and blue bandaids, her dark brown eyes looked down at the guy she was teasin. He was short, around the age of fifteen, his dirty blonde hair was swept to the side and his glasses were perched on the end of his nose.

"I'm not that short, besides, at least I am not the size of the eiffel tower!" the guy said, his Russian accent was very thick.

The girl on the other side of him grinned, her missing tooth showing, she shoved her dyed green fringe out of her face so she could see, her messy short hair stuck all over the place, the rather concerned Light wielder behind her had offered her her hair brush but she blatantly refused.

Back in the front of the bus one of the Darkness wielders had fallen asleep, the dark bags under their eyes clearly visible, their black beanie was pulled over most of their eye, their curly dark red hair was sticking out in tufts from under the beanie, their three piercings shimmering in the sunlight.
