Chapter 47: Babies & Mommys

Leah POV** Monday 10am
Leah Goffe said the nurse standing at the door. i stood and up and followed behind her and i faked a smile. marlo followed behind me. she checked my wait and then took me back to a room. i sat on the bed and looked over at Marlo. why you looking like that boy i asked him we have to be positive . nothing he said shaking his head. Last night i was having bad pains and a little blood from my vaginal area. i pray to god i don't lose this baby i finally feel happy and needed and wanting to change my life from the street style for this baby. Marlo held my hand and we waited for the doctor. hello mrs goffe said a short asian lady with black shoulder length hair. Hi i said to the doctor. i am doctor Su and ill be your gynecologist obstetrician and here's my office and personal number for when you have any questions and need help with anything. here's a gown and i need you to undress of out of everything and i'll be back to get things started to see what's wrong okay she said. okay i said and she left out. i took off everything and put on the gown and laid on my back in the bed. you okay baby said Marlo? yes i said rubbing my belly, just a little nervous. we waited and 5 mins later she came back in. alright she said and she said and she sat on the stool on the other side of me. what's going on today she asked? well last night i was having bad pains on the side and at the bottom of my stomach and when i went to the bathroom it was some blood on the toilet paper i told her. how much blood was it she asked? like not that much but as if i was on my period and i went to wipe it was like that. was it dark or light ? light i said. she stood up and stared rubbing and pressing in my stomach. she washed her hands and put on gloves and started setting up the ultra sound . she put the cold gel on my stomach and started moving it around with the ultrasound knob. it was s heartbeat, well the baby's heart beat sounds great and usually at the beginning of the pregnancy you may spot every now and then but it is okay to come to the doctor to be sure about the baby. she took off the gloves and washed her hands again. the baby's heart beat is strong and good and the baby is healthy. make sure you don't stress or be super busy and carry anything heavy. this your first child ? yes this is me and my boyfriends first child i said pointed to marlo and he smiled. i smiled rubbing my belly in a sigh of relief that my baby was okay. that's wonderful congratulations to you both and here's your ultrasound pictures. she handed them to me. you're only 2 months and pretty soon you guys will be finding out the sex see you guys february 1st. for the gender reveal. until then eat healthy take your vitamins and take it slow. if you wanna be more alert start wearing pads to bed to prevent blood on your under pants or bed. okay thank you i said. okay well nice meeting you guys I'm excited to be on this journey with you and make sure you keep my numbers close by okay she said. i sure will thank you i said and she shook both our hands. alright once i leave out you can get dressed and make your appointment out front and head on out okay she said. okay thank you i said and she left out. thank god ! i said crying and marlo hugged me and held me. i was so happy i didn't wanna lose this baby or my family. i have to focus and keep myself from stress. maybe i won't hurt kae'lonnie after all i can't harm my child.

Kae POV** 12pm
Mrs. Ortez said the real estate lady. yes i said getting up and following her into the office. how are ya today she said sitting down. great and you i said taking the seat in front her desk. okay so you are the sister of Khalil Ortez. yes i am i said. okay so the house is officially out of his name we have dated april 28, 2014 is when he put in the house for sale to us. huh i said. yes? she said. you said april 28th? i came to you guys may 8th 2014 a couple days after the funeral to the place the house for sale to you guys i said. no , we have here that april 28th he made the deal and may 8th is when you signed it. he had signed everything to you that all the house savings goto you that's why we had to meet with you. have you asked him about it? she asked. no ma'am my brother has been dead for 5 years he was killed and his funeral was may 5th and i came here may 8th. i told her. oh dear i'm sorry to here that but in our computers we did meet with Mr. Ortez in april of 2014. i was so confused why did Khalil put the house decision before he was even dead? approximately a week before his funeral. okay thank you i said. everything is final and this is our last meet unless you're interested in anything else she asked. no ma'am i'm fine can i have a copy of when khalil came here please? yeah sure since it's in your name now you have the right. she printed me a copy of the visits and the deal and signatures. thank you so much i said. you're welcome honey have a great life she said smiling. i walked out and got in my rental and called Zamir. something was weird
