The bumpy gliding of the train across the metal tracks distractingly swayed you as you gazed out the clear window. You were practically pressed against the screen, your eyes wide and your mouth agape at the passing scenery. Despite your nerves, you didn't mind being whisked away from your home if it meant seeing more scenic areas such as this.

Today marked the day you'd be transferring to your new school--Gakuen Academia. The academy for gifted and potential anime characters--or so it said in the pamphlet. Sure it seems a little lame, but really, what can one name a school for pretty much everything? Besides, ever since the first opening, YEARS ago, its become one of the most top-notch schools out there. Its been a dream of yours to attend the oh so amazing school, and when you received an acceptance letter one day, practically begging you to enroll, you instantly began packing your bags. After all, as the almost world-famous (but not really) reader-chan, its only natural they'd want you. You're practically a prodigy being able to insert yourself pretty much anywhere.

" I'm so excited!" You quietly cheer, slumping back into your seat and grinning ear to ear. The thought of starting your new life at Gauken Academia--surely there's a better name for the place--was exhilarating.

" ...tch. "

The sudden scoff emitting from in front of you caused you to look up curiously, and your (e/c) eyes met with a pair of glaring orange ones. It was the boy you had sat across from when you first boarded the train--he had been watching you. Strange, seeing as he wasn't even the slightest bit interested in you when you had boarded before, but now he was glaring daggers at you for no clear reason. Upon being caught, he quickly looks away, his gaze now out the window. You could notice the light tint of pink on his cheeks, likely from embarrassment, and a part of you wondered if he was simply shy and unable to express himself.

" Are you on your way to Gakuen Academia, too? " You ask with a friendly smile, but he doesn't look back at you at all. Not even a glance. Nor does he answer you. You can only tilt your head at his hostility...why was he suddenly pretending that you weren't there when just a second ago, he seemed to resent you being there in the first place? ...You didn't really catch the drift that he didn't exactly desire your pestering, however, so you spoke again.

" My name's (F/N) (L/N), what's yours? " You question again, this time gaining an irked look from him. He was about to say something, something you could only assume wasn't going to be his name, but the shrill skidding of the train's wheels against the tracks cut short your rather one-sided conversation. You had finally arrived. You turned back to the other with your mouth half open, but the boy had already risen from his seat and slung his bag over his shoulder. He began to take his leave, but not before halting momentarily and looking back at you.

" Ikuya Kirishima. "

Those were his only words to you before he quickly turned his head away and vanished into the crowd. Leaving you all alone. All you could do was give a quiet 'huh' as you watched him go. But soon, a smile spread across your face, and you began to gather your things. It was finally time.

You dispersed with the rest of the students off the train, your swarming thoughts drowned out by the bustling of equally excited students around you. You were so caught up in everything surrounding you that you almost bumped into the enormous metal gates of the academy entrance. A few other students around you giggled and made comments, causing you to blush bright red in embarrassment.

You were practically bouncing in your spot, unable to stand still as you impatiently watched the gates creak open--all you could imagine was the gates of heaven inviting you in its place. And you weren't the only one; immediately, a stampede of students swept you with them through the gates and into your new life--a hurried step into a new world. Your view was quite walled until you had made it to the front of the school building, when the crowd finally separated and dispersed into different sections of the front of the campus. Only then did you see the school building itself. You could practically hear your jaw hit the floor.

In front of you was a massive, yet divine building, built with a pearl white exterior that glistened under the morning sunlight. It stood at minimum four floors and sported large, round, and clear school windows that shined as if brand new. Beside it branched off two buildings that were only half its side yet somehow just as massive and topped with salmon pink rooftops that complimented its opposing color nicely. Despite being around for so many years, the school was in mint condition, looking as if it had just been built. The Janitors here must take their job very seriously. The school towered over you in an intimidating manner, causing you to be overwhelmed with emotions you couldn't express properly, so you just stood there with your mouth open like a deer in headlights. That (thankfully) didn't last too long though, as the nearby chatter of hasty students and possible classmates caught your attention from all directions.

" Armin! Let's hurry and get to our dorm! "

" Wah-!! Eren, wait for me! "

" You think Madoka is going to room with Mami? "

" Not if Homura has anything to do with it.. "

" Yuno, please let go of my arm, I need to get to my dorm already. "

" I'm rooming with you remember? "

" But you ca--...sigh. "

All the talk about Roommates made you wonder...who was your roommate? Everyone around you seemed to know each other, and you didn't even know the person you were going to be living with for the next year. Briskly, you retrieved your info sheet from your pocket and unfold it, skimming it over for your room number. Room 307...First Years Dorm. That sounded like it would be pretty high up...possibly the third floor. Really, you were a bit lazy and didn't feel like climbing all the way to the third floor just to put down your stuff and go all the way back down. It seemed like an unnecessary trip. Today was a free day for students to get settled in, right? Maybe you should do a bit of exploring before heading back to your dorm. Besides, you did need to join a club to be officially accepted, so it may be best to check some of them out. Your roomie can probably wait.
