Chapter One: Regret

       "I love you babe!" Carly said as she walked out the door to get to work. 'Ok babe! Have fun at the office!"said Noah as he pretended to get ready for work. Noah went to work an hour after Carly,so he had an excuse to stay in the house while she went to work. The moment that door shut,the briefcase came flying out of Noah's hand,and he raced for the phone. Noah rang Carly's best friend, Mia. "Ok,be there at five!" said Mia five minutes later. After an hour of waiting, Mia finally arrived. Noah flung the door opened,then quickly shut it after Mia walked in. "Hopefully Carly never finds out"whispered Mia as she flipped her hair back. 'Oh she won't!" said Noah as he leaned in to kiss Mia. What terrible timing,as the door swung open,there Carly was heavily breathing. "Oh gosh I forgot my papers! Wait why are you ho-MIA?!" screamed Carly as she looked up from the ground. "Carly? No it's not what you think!" said Noah as Carly fell down onto her knees and loudly sobbed. "You vowed on our wedding day to be faithful to our marriage!" shrieked Carly as the mascara ran down her face. Mia stepped in and said in such a sassy tone "Well,everyone makes mistakes! SIKE! He wasn't faithful even before your marriage! Might as well start signing those divorce papers!". Noah grabbed Mia by the shoulder and said "What?!". "Get out this house! I don't wanna see your faces anymore!"said Carly in a deep voice. 

               A couple hours later,Mia left,Noah called his friend and his friend, Josh,let him stay at his apartment. Noah walked outside the door and trudged his stuff behind him in a large suitcase. "Goodbye, we'll go to the court to divorce on the weekends."said Noah. "Bye bye,STUPID LIAR!" scowled Carly as she slammed the door. An hour later,after lots of sulking,she took down the wedding picture of them under a cherry birch tree,that gorgeous white dress and veil,perfect black tuxedo,and lots of love. "I hate him,I hate myself,I HATE MY LIFE!" screamed Carly

             She took knife and stabbed in the picture,right in Noah's face. The silly liar,said he loved Carly,but he didn't. Under those tears of sorrow,were feelings of rage and regret. How did she not notice before? Carly was just a stepping stone for Noah to find his real love. How could Mia do this? They had known each other since kindergarten. Oh yes,that day they met was joyful and splendid. Full of chatter as they got to know each other. Who knew,deep inside,Mia would betray Carly one day,now this certain day wasn't full of pleasant things. Only hate and regret. Noah regrets cheating on Carly. Mia regrets saying such things to Carly. Carly regrets marrying Noah. Regret at it's finest.
