Chapter Four Part One- Going Rouge

S.T.A.R Labs

Faye steadily walked into S.T.A.R labs with fresh cups of coffee on a tray, trying very hard not to spill them. Within seconds of entering the room, all but one for the five cups of coffee were out of her hand, her hair slightly messed up. With a lightning trail flashed across the room, Cisco, Caitlin, Dr. Wells had a cup of coffee next too or in their hands. Barry Allen stood in front of Doctor Well looking at the slightly flustered brunette with a smug look on his face as he sipped on his coffee.

Faye shot him an unamused look,

"You know what? Next time you get the coffee Mr. Speedy. Wasting my precious time," She grumbled walking to her, recently claimed, chair. 

Her friends chuckled and went back to Barry's training. His training today included Barry playing operation with Caitlin, chess with Dr. Wells and ping pong with Cisco, all at once. Faye had drowned out her surroundings while looking at her phone. It was an unsent message to her sister Felicity who she hasn't spoken to since her first night moving the Central City. It was her explains her new situation about Barry's superpower. Sure, she spoke to her here and there while Barry was in his coma but she didn't actually tell her that Barry was in a coma or his recently found power. She was scared that her sister would tell Oliver and she knew if Oliver was told to bring her back, he would.

Faye's head snapped up at the sound of a slight buzz. Her focus turned to a frustrated Caitlin,

Caitlin sighed heavily "This isn't even remotely anatomically correct."

Faye chuckled deciding to tease her,

"Well, that's not the point Dr. Snow." Caitlin rolled her eyes

"Then what is the point?." Barry sped over and did his turn, taking a piece out, without setting off the buzzer, and answered her with a smile,

"To have fun."

"- And to continue your ongoing training by testing the speed of your mind by pushing your ability to multitask." Dr wells piped up while completing his move as Barry went back and forth with Cisco.

"I'm waiting for you, Dr. Wells." Barry bragged as he moved his chess piece forward before speeding back to Cisco.

"I think we got something," Faye called over as she rolled her chair over the computer that let out an alert noise. Barry ran over to her and eyes the computer screen before Dr. Wells called out,

"Checkmate."

Barry's eyes widened in disbelief as he sped back to Dr wells and the chess board,

"- Wait, checkmate?"

"Checkmate." He echoed

"I guess we still have a few things left to learn, don't we, Mr. Allen?" Dr wells smirked in triumph

"There's an armed robbery at 4th and Collins," Faye called out as she typed on the computer that let out the familiar sound of an alert.

"For the record, I crushed it in operation and ping pong," Barry exclaimed before rushing into his suit than to the desired destination.

Caitlin jumped in her seat as she, once again, made the game buzz as she unsuccessfully pulled a piece out,

"It's not as easy as it looks." She huffed at the eyes on her

The team worked on watching out for Barry's vitals and keeping an ear out for any help he may need.

As Barry sped off, Faye worked on hacking security cameras around the area. Fortunately, there were, but within in seconds of getting into the system, they turned corrupt.
