After Graffiti Pete's vote-off, the tribe was happy. But that happiness did not last long. In the morning, Abuela and Usnavi had a minor fight about leadership in their alliance. At the reward challenge, in a difficult three-round battle, Maria won reward and chose to give it up for an advantage in the game. However, when she got back to camp, she found out she had gotten unlucky and picked the only disadvantage. This meant she had a disadvantage the next two immunity challenges, was not allowed to hold hidden immunity idols, and would receive a penalty vote up until the final five. She told the entire tribe about the first two conditions, however, she only told her closest two allies in King George and Theodosia about the final condition. At the immunity challenge, the tribe had to hold onto a pole. Maria managed to be one of the last four left even without footholds, but it was Abuela who shocked everyone by winning yet another challenge and keeping her safe from the vote. Back at camp, Peggy and the Hamilton alliance realized they were on the bottom, and made a plan to get Theodosia to spy on the others and reveal who they were voting for. As the rain began to come down, Usnavi thought about switching to a split vote at the last second. But at tribal council, he was the only one to vote for Philip, and Hamilton played his idol for himself. In a surprising turn of events, it was not Usnavi the four voted for. It was Theodosia's former closest ally, King George, sending him to the jury and leaving Maria completely shocked. Nine are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

Merged Tribe:

Pamwe Chete- Abuela, Usnavi, Hamilton, Philip, Theodosia, Peggy, Nina, Maria Reynolds, Piragua

PAMWE CHETE

Night 27

As the rain still falls, everyone arrives back at camp. "Good blindside, guys. Great move." says Usnavi. Usnavi confessional: "Once again I was blindsided at tribal council. I could have easily gone home last night. I've voted for someone that stayed alive literally every tribal council I was at in this game except Graffiti Pete's voteoff. I seem to always end up on the wrong side of things. But it's scary at this point to think I may not be in control of this game. Then again, have I ever really been in control?"

Theodosia confessional: "This game is getting more and more intense every minute. And I hadn't done much up until now, so I decided to make a big move and flip. I'm nervous about how this will turn out, because I am being targeted a lot now. Maria is going to be after me. I need to pray that this all works out."

REWARD CHALLENGE 9

Day 28

"Come on in, guys!" Jeff yells. Everyone walks in as the challenge is previewed. It is a sunny day, with the rain finally having stopped overnight. There are a number of little desks with whiteboards on them. "Alright, you guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?"

"Yeah!" everyone shouts excitedly.

"You already know what you're playing for- a chance to swim with sharks. Oh, and there's a picnic too. Now, let's get to the challenge. For today's challenge, you must solve ten word scrambles about this season and Survivor in general. They start out easy and get increasingly difficult. However, you are only allowed to check with me if you are correct two times- after you have completed five, and once you think you're finished. You can write down your answer and move onto the next station. Make sense?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay, head to your stations, we'll get started." Everyone goes to their spots. "Okay, on my go, uncover the board. Survivors ready? Go!"

All nine people uncover their boards. They see the first letters: RVOISRUV. Everyone stares at their letters for a few seconds before the first response.
