Emercyn's POV
I slammed the door. My vision was blurry, due to me crying my eyes out. I went straight to my bathroom, already deciding how to take away my pain. I looked in the mirror, disgusted by my appearance. Slut. Whore. I can't take it anymore. I need to find a way out. The only way.
Fumbling through my cabinet, I pulled out THE razor. The razor I would have with me every night, because of a boy. Ethan Dolan. I love him. He's just never seen my love. For five years. For five years, I've done this same routine every night, to look for a way out. To look for a way that I can be with Ethan.
I sat in my bathtub, which was filled with icy water, and dragged the razor down my wrist. I yelped, doing another stab into my arm. Masterpieces, I call them.
The pain felt good, very good. Dipping my hands into the cool water numbed my pain, emotionally and physically. Minutes later, my thoughts soon faded away, as I looked down to find I wasn't sitting in water. I was sitting in blood. The blood around my body accumulated higher and higher, until... I was drowning in it.
The blood was warm against my cold body, as it only seemed to get thicker and thicker each passing moment. I was aroused by the ocean of blood surrounding me as I gazed at my surroundings. Blood, blood, even more blood. There's no way to get out of it.
Quickly glancing up, I saw something peculiar. My reflection was hanging about 50 feet above me....It was a surface. My mind felt like a timer was ticking.
6.....I started paddling through the blood with my arms, but nothing was happening.
5.....It was like I was frozen, I was moving.
4.....I was giving up, I couldn't breathe.
3....I was going down, descending in the thick crimson, no way out.
2....My eyes closed tightly, as I prepared to face my fate.
1....Everything faded away, my memories, my family, my childhood, Ethan.... My world soon faded to black, or so I thought........

Ayyye! So 375 words on this chapter! Sorry it was really short, I just usually make pretty short first chapters in my books, and my chapters after that would range from 500 to 1000 words.
