Chapter 15

Over the next two weeks, things were a whirlwind for everyone.

Harry divided his time between home and the hospital. He would bring Faith with him so she could visit her mummy. He would place her little hand on Marian's and let her touch her. He would also place her on Marian's chest after he fed her and she would fall asleep. He took pictures to remember the moments. He was also very grateful and thankful for not only his mum but for Rosalie as well. They were so overjoyed at being grandma's and they helped him with the daily activities of Faith's life. Things began to fall into a routine and he was finally able to try to get some semblance of sleep as well. But when he did sleep, his dreams were plagued by thoughts of Marian. Thoughts of her dying if they couldn't find her a new heart.

Kaia went to the hospital every day to sit with Marian. She continued to talk to her and she swore she could feel her squeeze her hands sometimes. And she was thankful that the monitors didn't go off the charts when she was there. She would talk about the twins and Karim. Sometimes she would even help the nurses give her a bed bath and then Katia came one day and helped her fix her hair the best that they could with her doing nothing buy lying in bed. Katia seemed to be having a harder time seeing her friend in a coma and she tried to do her best to keep from getting upset, but sometimes it was hard and when Kaia would ask her to go with her to the hospital, she would politely decline and go and spend time with Faith at the house instead.

Louis brought the pictures that the twins had made for their auntie and he too would spend hours just sitting and talking to her. He knew that sometimes it made Harry uncomfortable because he would walk in and hear him talking about when they were together. He loved her and he always would. He and Harry had some long talks about his proposition and he would always ask Harry if he was sure about what he was offering and he would tell Louis he was. He knew that Marian couldn't help the fact that she loved them both. He was also a frequent visitor to the Malik house.

Kaia had insisted on making sure that he was alright as well and he enjoyed spending time with his nephews and niece. They made him smile and uplifted his spirits. He kept Ahmir updated on his 'T' which seemed to make him happy and keep him from tying up his sister when he would get upset. He and Kaia were also working on music together.   She had even proposed to him about possibly being the producer on her next album.  She told him what had happened with Perrie, which made him angry.  He promised her he would think about it and he told her that if he would become her producer, he would ensure that she had full creative control, with suggestions from him and Zayn.  They both couldn't help but laugh at whether Marian would be furious or happy that they were finally getting along and also possibly working together.

Zayn and Harry were working with Marian's doctors to find out what was going to be done for her getting a heart transplant. What the options were. Where she was on the waitlist and what kind of precautions she would need to do when she got home.

Zayn was also there for Kaia when she would come home from the hospital. He could see how mentally drained she was. He almost wondered if this was worse than when she had been diagnosed with her cancer. She still cried herself to sleep almost every night and she tried not to, but he always told her not to bottle things up inside. She was so grateful to him and his support and his love. He told her many times that he was very proud of her for not running away this time. That she was finding the strength to be supportive of everyone. He promised her they would get through this. Together they could get through anything.

"Are you sure you don't want any of us to go with you?" Kaia asked Harry as she took her niece from him.

He had asked all of them to meet him at Zayn and Kaia's. Everyone was there. Katia, Liam, Louis, and Niall. He told them that today was the day the doctors were going to bring Marian out of her coma.
