**Flashback**

"Mommy where you going?" "Kaitlyn I love you okk? I promise I'll be back." "Pwease mommy don't go stay!" My 3-year old said crying uncontrollably as I watched my mother hop into a cab and leave me. "I wuv u mommy."

**Flashback over**

I woke up to demi shaking me and I screamed then all.of a. sudden I'm.being pulled into her lap and being rocked back and forth like a baby. Demi started singing "My love is like a star" to me and I noticed that she had been crying too. "You know i wrote that song about u baby girl." "Really?" "Yeah". "Baby girl I left cause I was at a really bad state n I didnt want you to see me like that." I was curious about what she meant by a bad state. I remembered that she would come home at 3 in the morning smelling like alcohol and my dad and her would always be fighting and she'll lock herself in the bathroom. "What do ya mean by a bad state demi?" I asked. She didn't say anything instead she pulled out my laptop out of my drawer and went in YouTube and typed "Demi Lovato Stay Strong Documentary" in the search box thingy. I was hella curious. As the documentary started to play I felt demi go tense.By the end of the documentary I was in a full crying session. I felt demi pull me into her lap and wrapped he arms around me and started to rock me back and forth like a baby. It's ok… I'm ok baby girl." she whispered into my ear.  "No it's not demi what if u died huh?" "But I didn't did I?" "No." "I'm here to stay ok baby girl?, I'm not leaving u no way I missed

11 years of your life and I'm not gonna miss another 11 years ok?" Demi said and all I heard in her voice was love and I just nodded my head. "Ha ha Ha kenzie do you really think that she cares? Well ur stupid to think that. She'll leave ur fat ass as soon as your dad leaves" My demons said. Shit! There back. "Shut up" I hissed under my breath. I got up and Walked to the bathroom to get ready while my demons screamed at me. Where ya going baby girl?" Demi asked. Gonna take a shower n get ready for breakfast and don't call me that!"  I snapped. i don't know what happened to me but I just snapped at demi who sat and comforted me while I cried my eyes out. As I look back I saw a flash of hurt in her eyes. Before I walked into the bathroom I said "Demi?" "Yeah baby girl?" "I'm sorry I snapped at you." "Its okk hun"

With that I turned on my heel to pick up my towel off of my purple couch but instead I fell on my butt. Demi quickly rushed over to me and scooped me up while cradling me like a baby "Are u okay?" Does anywhere hurt?" "Are u bleeding?" "DEMI SHUT UP!" I yelled as questions were thrown at me. "Oops um sorry." "Can ya put me down please?" As demi puts me down I notice that we both have freckles. "I'm okay demi,I fall a lot so no worries". "Oh thank god ur okay and I know where you get ur clumsiness from". "Wait lemme guess who,hmmmmm I get it from you of course. I'm gonna go take a shower do whatever you want." She nods as I leave. When I finsh getting ready I put on white skinny jeans,Red v neck , red Miami heats snapback and my black vans. For accessories I grabbed my peace sign stud earings,my bracelets and my necklace that had a heart locket that had the last picture I took with demi before she left. I pulled my hair into a pony tail and tied my skull bandana around my head. As I walked out I found demi dressed in Black ripped skinny jeans,Paramore T-shirt and black combat boots. Her hair was in a messy bun but she still looked beautiful. "Kaitlyn?" Dem said as she took Me out of my trance. "Huh yeah?" "Your dad said to come say goodbye cause he's leaving in the next 5 minutes." "Kayy" I walked out to find my dad all packed and ready to go but the weird thing is that he was wearing black jeans, grey v neck and Black Nike shoes instead of his army suit. "Bye baby girl love you" "Bye dad love u too" and with that he walked out the house without hugging me or anything. I started to cry. I walked into the kitchen and saw demi cooking eggs so I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and sobbed into her back. "Baby girl what happened?" she said as she swiftly picked me up and placed me on her hip while still cooking. I put my head on her shoulder . "D-dems?" "Yeah baby girl?" "He left without hugging me or doing our handshake" "Maybe he was running late baby,but don't cry he'll be back" She said as she turned off the stove and started bouncing me on her hip while making funny faces eventually making me laugh. "Ah there's that smile that lights up my world" Demi said. I hid my face in her neck as my cheeks turned a crimson red. "Awww ur blushing" Demi said while giggling. "Dems ur phone's ringing" Demi dashed for her phone while I'm still on her hip. " Ur aunty Dallas is skyping me". dems said. "Well answer it And put me down" I said while pouting   "Nahh I'm good " She said as she answers the Skype call. "Demi!!" "Dallass" "Who's the Lil girl dems?" Dallas asks. "Before demi could answer I said "Hi aunty dally!" "K-kait? dal stuttered. "In the flesh and blood!" "Omg I missed u babee" "I missed u too aunty dally!" "Awww u still remember our nicknames" dal cooed. "So dems what y'all doing today?" dal asked "We're just gonna have a lazy day" demi said. "Oh cool,  I gotta go Rob's taking me out so bye dems bye kait!" "Bye aunty dally" "Bye Dallas". When the Skype call ended Demi placed me on the counter as she took out our breakfast. I attempted to jump off the counter only to be met by the floor and hands gently picking me up. "Kenz are u OK?" "Yeah dems I'm good just giving the floor a hug" I said with sarcasm dripping of each word. "Hey kenz?" "Yeah mo-demi?" "What movie do ya wanna watch?" "How bout Prom Night (A/N- I love this movie :p ) "sure" We got all cuddled up on the couch with me laying on demi,my head on her chest and her hands wrapped around me protectively.

After the movie

(Still Kenzie POV)

"Kenzie?" "Hmm" I hummed

"You know that you can call me mom right?" "really?" "Yep" demi said popping the "p" "oh cool"

"Kenz wanna head up to bed it's pretty late" "Kay lets goo" We walked up to my room and I went and took a bath and put on blue short PJ pants and a white t-shirt. when I walked back out demi was dressed in a Dallas cowboys T-shirt and black PJ shorts. I climbed into bed and got comfortable. Demi took off the lights n climbed into bed and pulled me into her chest. "I love you baby girl to the moon and back,forever" I heard demi said and I remembered that she'd always tell me that while tucking me in. "I love you too mommy to the moon and back,forever." And with that I fell asleep cuddled into my mother's chest.

~Demi's POV ~

As I heard those words come out of kenzie's mouth I couldn't help but to smile. I fell asleep the most happiest person on earth with my beautiful daughter cuddled up into my chest.

•Next Morning•• still Demi's POV ••

I woke up to my phone blaring Hit Em' up by tupac. "Hello?" "Ahhh Demi how dare u leave without telling me that ur going to England?" That my friend is my best friend Marissa Callahan. "Mar calm down,breathe" "Okk. Im calm,Why did u leave?" "I left to see my daughter , Kaitlyn remember?" "Oh yeah but wait doesn't she hate u?" "Nope she told me she loves me last night!" "Awwww" "Yeah look mar I'll call u back later kay?" "Kay baby doll take care love u!" "Yeah u too love ya too bye" I hung up. I tried to get up but felt something on my stomach and saw my baby girl sleeping on me so I stayed. While waiting for her to wake up I played with her hair but something caught my eye. I was shocked to see white lines running up And down her wrists. I started to cry which eventually woke her up. "Dems why are u crying?" "K-kenzie I saw them,I saw the scars.Why? who made u do this? was it me?" I asked. "Ohh. I was started getting bullied at Age 10 until I was 13. I started self harming at 10 until I was 13. I'm 8 months clean. no it wasn't you mom" she said. Instead of answering her I kisses each of her scars and whispered beautiful on each scar. "Scars are from heaven showing us the hell we've been through" I said as I quoted a tweet I once saw. "Let's get ready shall we?" I said in a posh accent which earned a giggle from her. While she was getting ready I got dressed in black leather pants that hugged my ass perfectly, a mayday parade T-shirt And my black Supras. I pulled my hair into a messy bun And put on a Lil bit if foundation,lip gloss And eyeliner. I grabbed my sun glasses And a red bandana and tied it around my head. Kenzie walked out wearing red shorts,a white crop top with "Weirdo ;p " written in purple letters and her black Vans with her hair in a ponytail with her famous Miami Heats Snapback. She had on the necklace with the heart locket that had the last picture I took with her and her diamond studs. She looked surprised to see me wearing my locket the same as hers. "Kenzie babee let's go shopping!!!" I scooped her up in my arms and ran with her out the door And into my car. We stopped at Starbucks And we bought breakfast. We spend at least the whole day shopping. I was so happy to be cuddled up with my baby girl right now.

A/N

Sorry I didn't get to update earlier I didn't have any WiFi! Any who my exam results are coming out soon And I'm soooo excited and nervous and scared at the same damn time! Agfsagjuhhd :p . Some of y'all might be confused so lemme break it down. Where I live u go to middle school/primary school until ur in 6th grade and then u write an exam to find out which high school ur gonna go to!  :)
