The New School Year

This is my very first book I am going to try and publish. I'm not a very talented at "fan fiction making" , but I absolutely loveeee reading it.

"This year is gonna be my year! I'm now a Sophomore" I excitedly say into my mirror on my wall.

My outfit for today is a maroon flannel with grey crop top with some white shoes. Then I head to my bathroom. I put on a dash of makeup on to look natural. But I need those eyelashes to pop ,ya know what I'm sayin.

"Cassidy! Breakfast is ready!Are you almost ready?"My mom said from downstairs.

"Ok mom I'm coming" I said

She made pancakes, eggs , sausage, and some hash browns. I gobbled that pancake down. "Mhmmhm, thanks mom it was delicious!Now I gotta get goin, don't wanna be late to the bus stop"I said

"Ok honey see you after school!" Mom excitedly said.

~5mins later~

I made it to the bus stop and other kids are already there, but the one that stands out is,"Ugh Carter."
Carter basically likes to annoy me because I always have Starbucks at school. And I always 'overreact' he says.

Speaking of him, he's freakin walking over here ughhhh.

"What now Carter,are you gonna annoy me again" I screech.

"Uh no, I just wanted to say you look cute today" he said as he smirked.
My cheeks got red as a tomato!!!!!

"As if! I look like a potato!Don't call me that" I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Oh you know you love being told you look cute, just look at your face, it's all red." He smirked

~The bus arrives~

"Whatever" I mumble.
