Tuesday started out just as bad as Monday, if not worse. Shawn picked me up instead of Clarrisse, and basically escorted me throughout the hallways and to basically all of my classes. I was finally free from him third block though, he had a baseball meeting. When I arrived at my class Jasper was nowhere in sight, I know he's here somewhere. He was glaring at Shawn walking through the locker bay. The bell rang and ten minutes afterward, when I thought I was safe, he walked in with a pass from the office. I blushed and looked intently down at my work. He sat his bag on the floor next to me and sat at my table with me.

"Hello Natalie."

"Hi Jasper."

"Your boyfriend is a jealous kid isn't he?"

"Shawn isn't my boyfriend."

"Well it seems like he is."

I looked up at him, why is he testing me like this? Does he want me to get angry?

"Is this your business? I don't even know you."

His eyebrows raised a little and he smirked.

"You could if you wanted to. But that's your decision."

"Are you hitting on me?"

He laughed. Which made me blush, one because I wasn't kidding and now embarrassed, two because his laugh is melodic and gorgeous.

"If you want me to hit on you I could. It wouldn't be such a leap.."

I blushed harder which made him smile.

"Now I'm hitting on you Natalie. So what do you say?"

"What do I say to what?"

"Getting to know me."

"You mean like a date?"

"No, I don't date. I'm asking if you'd like to get to know me."

I was stunned and I just stared blankly at his gorgeous face. He stared back waiting for an answer.

"Don't think, just do."

He said.

"How would I be getting to know you, not on a date?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out."

"Are you challenging me Jasper?"

He chuckled.

"Yes. So what do you say?"

I thought for longer. My head which is where all of my logic lies, strongly says no. But something inside of me, seemingly overcasting the logic and clouding my head, is screaming he's on the top of its lungs.

"Fine."

He smiled and settled back in his chair. His smug face seemed to be saying 'good girl, now I can kill you alone'. It gave me shivers, and he noticed them. His eyes followed down my figure, then back up, stopping at my eyes.

"I'll pick you up around seven tonight then."

I shut down and just didn't say anything. I went back to my work and the rest of our block was silent at the table we were at. He would periodically stare at me and I would pretend not to notice. I don't think he fell for it though. The bell finally rang and he walked me to my locker again.

"I make you uncomfortable."

He said matter-of-factly. I looked up at him and blushed because he was right. He does make me uncomfortable. There's an uneasiness following him. Even his cousin avoids him. But she's a nasty snatch so that kind if makes sense.
