"Why won't you smile?" Taehyung asks Yerin one day before class.

"I do, but not to you." Yerin says.

"Why?"

"Because why not?"

"I'm going to make her smile." Taehyung says.

"No matter how hard you try, she definitely won't." Jimin says, eating his pack of mochis for lunch.

"Taehyung will never stop trying." Jungkook says. "What's so special about her smiling anyways?"

"Because I love seeing her smile. It makes me happy."

"How about my smile?" Jungkook asks.

Taehyung rolls his eyes. "No."

"Buy her some mochi, they are delicio-" Jimin starts to to say but gets cut off by Taehyung chasing after Yerin.

"Yerin!"

Yerin turns around, annoyed. "What do you want now?"

"Do you like cats?" He asks.

Yerin looks at him strangely. "Wha- no, I don't like cats."

"Do you like chocolate?"

"No."

"Flowers?"

"No."

Taehyung taps his chin. "How about some food?"

"No."

"Oh I know!" Taehyung's eyes light up. "Gucci?"

"Where do you have the money for that? But no."

"Is no the only word you can say?"

"No. I'm leaving, thanks for wasting my time."

"Wait! One more question." Yerin crosses her arms and looks expectantly at him. "Do you hate me?"

"N-, yes I do." Yerin swats at him.

Taehyung sticks out his tongue and laughs. "Got you!"

Yerin leaves, furious. "Don't ever bother me again."

"Now I get to bother you and you can't do anything!" Taehyung says. During Science class, Yerin and Taehyung got placed with each other for a project.

Yerin groans. "I hate you so much."

"I hate me too." Taehyung says, jokingly.

"Why are you always so happy?"

"I'm not, well, I don't think I am."

"I never saw you once not smiling."

"Because I want to make you happy."

Yerin rolls her eyes. "I'll be happy when you leave."

"Which is never. Have you ever heard of the phrase, 'You never walk alone'?"

"No." Yerin opens her textbook. "Have you heard of the phrase, Stop bothering me and do your work?"

"I'm only here because of the assignment, not because I want to." Yerin says, once Taehyung opens the door to his house.

"At least you actually came. I thought you were going to bail on me."

"With my grades on the line, I wouldn't."

Taehyung leads her to his room. They get ready to finish the project, but a loud barking sound comes from the outside of his door.

"Ignore that, it's just my dog." Taehyung says.

Yerin's eyes widen. "You have a dog?"

Taehyung nods and opens the door. A small furry creature attacks Taehyung. "Yeontan!"

Yerin holds back her smile. "Yeontan's so cute!" She bends down and pats the dog. Yeontan switches his attention from Taehyung to Yerin.

"Yeontan! Get off!" Taehyung tries to pry the dog off of Yerin but stops when noticing her smile. He automatically smiles at the view.

"Can I keep him?" Yerin jokingly asks.

Taehyung laughs. "I wish but he's mine for now."

"Yeontan is almost as cute as the owne-" Yerin stops mid sentence.

"As cute as what?"

"Nothing." She quickly says. "Let's get back to w-" Taehyung pushes her onto his bed. He leans forward.

"W-What are you doing?" She stutters. Taehyung places his finger on her lips.

"Can I appreciate the beauty in front of me in silence?" He says.

"Beauty in front of you?" She asks but quickly realizes what he means. Yerin blushes and smiles.

"I truely love your smile."

"Why are you so obsessed with it?"

"It makes me smile myself, you make me happy."

"Taehyung...." His name that left her lips melted into his skin.

"If you ever feel down, know that you are so important to me. More than you'll ever imagine."

"Your smile is everything to me."
