“Maybe you’re right,” I go over to the bone pile and take the sword’s sheath. After putting the sword in it I slip it between my back and the shield. "Maybe I am the hero..."
“Mhm!” She clasps her hands together. “Of course it is! I didn’t hit my head, so I know who you are!”
“Well, obviously,” she knew more about me than I did. We start towards the way we were going before we were rudely interrupted by an angry dead guy.
“How do you think he found these?” I motion to my two need accessories.
“I’m sure he just found them. We were looking for your bow, actually.”
“Ah… Do you think another guy would have that?” I jump on a smaller rock to get on the taller one.
“Maybe, he’d have to find arrows and your quiver, to use it, though.”
I nod but she didn’t see since she was facing the other way.
“Is that a door?” I say, looking ahead. “What the fuck is a door doing in a cave?” We come up to it. There’s no way to open it.
“There must be something we have to find to open it…”
“Like, a key?”
“More like a switch or lever.”
I groan, “Ugh… That sounds like a lot of work I don’t wanna do…”
“Link! C’mon!” She got angry.
“Can’t you do it and I just stay here?”
“NO!!” She bounced around.
“Fuck,” I mutter, “Fine!”
“Thank you!” Ciela decided which way to go. We came across a lever. It was pretty big, so even if she came alone she wouldn’t be able to pull it. It was about waist high.
“Maybe this will open the door!” Oh, Ciela and your stupid optimistic thoughts. I pulled it.
A deep rumbling shook the cave, making some pebbles and dirt fall from the ceiling. “Whoa…”
“HEY!” I look at the obnoxious fair, “That opened the door!”
I trudge behind her to the door and sure enough it was gone.
“Hmm…” I looked in the door way, not understanding where the door went.
