December 15, 2017.

As Tal walked arms linked with his date, April, out of the movie theatre. The snowflakes fell from the sky landing on his black beanie and April's dark brown hair. April laid her head on his bicep, due to him being taller than her, she couldn't help but to feel at peace with Tal.

Through everything they have been through in the past year, they deserved to be happy for once. Don't they? Tal has never felt this way, he's never felt loved. April provided this feeling, even if she didn't feel the same way but Tal knew she did. April has always been the kind of woman who hid her emotions well until her breaking point. Tal looked ahead of them as they walked down the sidewalk to Central Park.

As they approached Central Park, Tal began to get an uneasy feeling. It amazes him how much April makes him feel just by hearing the thump thump of April's heart. He knew that she wanted to kiss him, he wanted to do it too but they couldn't. They both knew that they shouldn't kiss because with Tal being hunted by hunters and his own father, the alpha, it was too risky. April lifted her head and squeezed Tal's arm as they walked through Central Park.

April let go of Tal's arm, she walked over to where the grass was cover with snow. "What are you doing?" Tal asked watching her pick up some snow. April only smiled, "You're a thousand years old right?" April asked forming the snow into a ball. Tal only nodded his head, stopping in his tracks. "What's does my actual age have to do with the snow?" Tal asked watching as April was forming a ball of snow in her bare hands. April looked at him, "Snowball." She said tossing it at him, it hit Tal's shoulder.

Tal looked at his shoulder then April. "I don't get it?" Tal asked walking up to April. April let out a breath, "Never mind, wanna keep walking." April said walking towards the trail. Tal bent down and picked up some snow. He formed it into a ball. Tal tossed it hitting the back of April's thigh. April stopped and turned around to look at him. "I see the fun in this." Tal said picking up more snow. April smiled, she rushed over to another untouched area of snow. She began to form another snowball.

Tal tossed another one at her, hitting her shoulder. April tossed a snowball hitting Tal's back. All you heard, was April's laughter because Tal never really showed emotion, unless he had too, it was like he was dead. Which was true, he is a nogitsune and a true alpha after all.

April bent down to make another one, but she was being picked up. She smiled, knowing it was Tal. "Tal put me down." She giggled, Tal set her down in front of him. April turned around, shivering from the cold. "Give me your hands." Tal said holding out his. April put her hands, that are now red from the snow, in front of her. Tal took her hands into his. He brought them up to his face, Tal's hot breath on April's hands, warmed her up instantly.

Tal looked into her bright blue eyes, he licked his lips. Should I risk it? Tal thought to himself. April looked down at Tal's lips then back up at his eyes. Tal let a breath out, "Come on its getting late." Tal said letting go of April's hands. April let out a sigh, "Let's go see if Scott found the map to the church." Tal said walking on the cement trail.

As they walked through Central Park, Tal got another uneasy feeling. Tal heard someone's footsteps running towards them. Tal stopped in his tracks, which caused April to stop as well. "What is it Tal?" April asked as her heart picked up rapidly. She looked forward and saw Lydia Martin rushing towards them. "Do you think something happened?" April asked as Tal still stood there. "I think something is about to happen." Tal mumbled he took a step. Lydia was still jogging towards us with Stiles and Jordan Parrish behind her. They were signaling Tal and April to get down. Tal looked over his shoulder and saw a hunter. Tal grabbed April, pulling her into his chest.

The hunter shot, which sent the other hunters to start shooting at them. Tal pulled April towards a bunch of trees, still covering her. The hunters still shot at the trees were Tal and April were. Lydia, Stiles, and Jordan stayed low and rushed over to them. "Where is Scott?" Tal shouted over the rapid gun fire. Stiles looked at Tal, "On his way." Stiles said ducking lower.
