* Kennedy's POV *

The days were getting closer for the big day. Now, we had to celebrate the best way we knew how. Drinking! Kendrick stopped in the doorway of the bedroom looking at me.
Kennedy: What?
Kendrick: Nothing.
Kennedy: You ready?
Kendrick: Yup.
Arriving at the club, everyone was happy for us. I was even happy for us. I wished me & him nothing the best. Everything we had been through, prepared us for the big day. We started grabbing glass after glass enjoying the celebration we had going on. Then, it was time for the speeches. First, Karri went up.
Karri: I wish y'all nothing but the best. I can't believe in just 4 weeks y'all will be getting married. & like I said, I wish y'all the best.
Karri smiled at me & Kendrick & sat down. Regan stood up.
Regan: Me, being the older sister, I thought I'd you beat you at the alter. Unfortunately, not. I wish y'all the best of luck & wishes on a happy marriage. Love you both.
Regan drunk some of her wine & sat down. Ebony stood up & rubbing down on her dress.
Ebony: Good luck.
She came & sat down, but me & Kendrick laughed it off. You could tell Ebony had a little too much to drink already. Zarion stood up to give her speech.
Zarion: Well, we have our ups & downs bitch. I'm just glad you're happy & you've found that special someone. I wish you nothing but the best for whatever comes in the future.
I had never heard Zarion talk like that. So positive. She sat down & smiled over at me & Kendrick. We did have our plenty ups & downs, but what friendships don't? I got up to thank everyone.
Kennedy: Me & Kendrick want to thank everyone for their positive vibes! We appreciate that shit like really. Thanks y'all.
All the girls got up & gave me a hug. I could tell the beginning was nearing.
