Chapter 14: Secret Lovers

* Zarion's POV *

Nobody knew the reason I smiled. Nobody but him & I. Rolling off top of me, he grabbed his pants. I was actually falling for him though.

Zarion: You know I like you.

Birdman: I find myself thinking the same sometimes.

Zarion: Never had someone have exactly what I'm looking for.

Birdman: Same here.

He continued getting dressed while holding the conversation with me.

Birdman: I actually care about you Zarion. Even though, the only way we've connected is though sex.

Zarion: I feel the same way.

He grabbed onto my hand & I closed my hand with his. He started smiling & leaned down giving me a wet kiss.

Birdman: I got some business to handle this week. Maybe we can have lunch next week though.

Zarion: I'd like that!

He stood up, taking his hand away from mine. He walked out the door.

Next Week....

Birdman & I were headed to lunch together, although we told others that it was business wise. Really he was falling for me & the feeling had become mutual. I didn't understand what was going on because I hadn't felt like this for anyone in a while.

Zarion: Brian right?

Birdman: That's the name.

Zarion: Where did Birdman come from?

Birdman: Growing up, that's what they called me. I just kept it cause it's who I was & who I am.

Zarion: Oh really?

Birdman: I bought you a little something too.

He pulled out a red velvet box.

Birdman: Open it.

I grabbed the box & opened it. Inside was a diamond necklace with 12 diamonds on it. I was amazed at so many diamonds. It was beautiful.

Zarion: Wow. For me?

Birdman: For you. The big diamond in the middle is 16 carats & the small ones around it are 8 carats. Thought it was fit for someone beautiful.

Zarion: Aw. Thank you. I love it!

He placed the necklace around my neck. I grabbed it. Nobody had ever given me something so nice or even took the time to think about me while out of time. He was just what I needed.
