Chapter 18

Optimus howled incoherent words. His arms falls to the ground with a loud thud. Megatron laughs watching from the shadows I shut my eyes trying to ignore his evil laughter. My eyes pop open at the heart aching pleads of my mate; I knew Sentinel was about to deliver the final blow, and there was nothing I could do to help my love.

"Sentinel! Please!" Optimus begs him and Sentinel laughs at his plea, probably thinking that the pleading was futile. "Any last words, Optimus?" Sentinel asked, raising his lance high above his damaged helm.

My eyes shut not wanting to see the end of my mates life, wouldn't be able to take it. If only I could release another energy ball, but after my first attempt it exhausted my brain.

Is that even possible?

Optimus's ocean blue optics dart to mine with great sadness. For a second I felt Optimus' emotions flare through the link as his ocean blue optics met and held mine.

A single tear falls from my eye down my right cheek, I found my heart about to burst from my chest. "Lily..... My dearest Lily I am of great sorrow," Optimus thought. My eyes widened as his thought entered my mind.

How is that possible? "Optimus! Optimus!" I cried. My fists clenching. "Don't cry my sweetest angel," He says, trying not to worry me. I noticed his optics were intense. The sight stuck me to my core.

"Optimus, you can't leave me. You promised." I thought. He optics never leave mine or maybe I was just imagining that Optimus saw me in the clutches of Megatron.

I smiled despite the fact that he was about to die before my eyes, "We need you, I need you. Please don't go." My hands turning hot. Sentinel had a cruel shimmer in his optics and it add to the course of killing Optimus. At the last second, out of the blue, Megatron sprinted forward, bulldozing Sentinel, knocking him away from my Optimus and kicked his lance out of his reach. "This is my planet! And I am the only one allowed to kill these putrid humans!" Megatron roared. Megatron picked up Sentinel's cannon and blasted him in the face. Sentinel fell back, crying in excruciating pain. Megatron jostled Sentinel aside, "This my job, not you!" Megatron spat. Then approached Optimus. Megatron made sure he hid me so I wasn't visible to Optimus. He had gotten up standing tall and beautiful against the setting sun.

"MEGATRON!" Optimus growled, charging towards him, which only made Megatron chuckle darkly. "Now now, brother. I wouldn't do that if I were you." Megatron rebuked."What do you mean?" Optimus snapped. "Where is she Megaron?!" He bellowed, Megatron didn't look threatened by Optimus's yelling, and that made me even more scared, where were the other's?

"Put down the gun and I won't kill her," Megatron reassured, "If you dare touch her I will rip out your throat!" Optimus threatened, his optics going from an ocean blue to a cross between dark blue and red. "Besides what would you be without me Prime." Megatron exclaimed.Voice ringing with authority, Optimus stated,"Time to find out," Before springing into action Optimus shot Megatron in the shoulder forcing him to drop me, and Optimus drove in catching me. After placing me down on the ground safety, he ran to Megatron ripping him apart as if he was nothing more than a piece of paper. His metal body crumbled, like powder, and it was a sight to see.

"Optimus," urged Sentinel. I watched as Optimus walked over to him carrying a gun equivalent to a rifle and he raised it, but he doesn't shoot as of yet. "I only wanted the survival of our race," Sentinel revealed. "Now you see why I had to portray you," "You not only portrayed your own race, but you portrayed me." He cocked it, and shot fire Sentinel's helm coming clean off. It was quite now just Optimus and I between ruins and a dead Megatron and Sentinel,

Optimus suddenly kneels before me, bringing his face close to mine, "I am happy you're safe my little one." I smiled, tears slipping from my hazel eyes. I trail a light hand down Optimus's face so I knew that he was really in front of me and not where Megatron or Sentinel. Dead. "I love you." His engine came to life from within his chassis and he kissed me on the lips. Optimus then stood up watching out for the other's. His lookout had succeed when we saw the others at the end of the bridge. Everyone comes walking towards us with victorious smiles, I run to Will and Robert giving them both big hugs.

They both hugs me back tightly not letting go and I didn't want them to. They're family to me and I wouldn't want that to change ever in a million years. It was worth it. "You both fought bravely," Ratchet gushed to Blue and Bee.

Blinking, I watched as my hero gazes up at the sun. Sam comes running scooping Carly up in his arms holding her close.

I smiled watching them embrace. It all looked so graceful and complicated as we stand on the bridge basking in our victory high fiving and hugging each other, and all I wanted to do was embrace Optimus. I knew he wanted to as well, feeling his ocean blue optics gazing straight at me.

Optimus activates his hologram for me, but I was scared considering he was severely injured.

Neither of us said anything as his blue eyes gaze into mine. I cupped his scarred face caressing his face. He leans into my touch smiling hugely pearly whites showing; Optimus, he leans downward and captures my lips in a sweet kiss.

"I love you," He whispers with a smile on his beautiful face minus the scars. Bumblebee suddenly opens his chassis and drops something that looks like sprockets, "Oooh, rings!" Carly gushed. Bumblebee starts playing the wedding chimes through his radio, I thought is was adorable.

"I love this car!"

"Yeah, but Bee. you gotta slow it down. You gotta slow way down, OK?" Sam insisted, "I'm just trying to help out." Bee exclaimed through his radio.

It was glorious and sweet occasion with Sam blushing beet red at the fact of marrying Carly.
