Once upon a time there was a lonely kid
And every single day in her room she hid
As the sun rose and fell, and people came and passed
through the window she watched them through glowing glass
she watched them make friends or grimace at some
but she never understood when her time would come
When could she be freed? Could she meet friends?
Could she ever leave to make her life begin?
Though it bothered her little; she had so much to learn
she knew she was young, and how this loneliness burned
... So one day she decided to make it start.
She'd waited long enough, so she looked to her heart.
She looked for who she was but saw only blur
But maybe her tears were just blinding her
Though it was too late; with a flash she was gone
just a child in her room, left alone far too long.
