The sun barely made its way over the mountains. It wasn't even time to get up yet. The alarm didn't go off yet. Usually you would hear the violent buzzing at directly 6:00 but today Ten woke up early. Surprisingly he is going to make it on time today. But how come this early?

He got off of bed and grabbed his glasses. They were a necessity that he always needed. Without them he wouldn't be able to see the world very clearly.

Today was going to start off as a cold day and empty as usual. Nothing really gave Ten the motivation to move on with life. Five long years working as a journalist, nothing seemed to be interesting or sparked his mind. Everyday was the same. Nothing new. Boring as usual. People thought living in Seoul would give them the wonders and joy to their life. It doesn't really seem to work that way for Ten.

As he walked towards the kitchen, a violent swirl of air shook the apartment building. What sucks even more was that the heat was broken.

He made himself a cup of coffee. Bittersweet. But something felt wrong. Ten felt like he was missing something. This day didn't seem quite right. Usually everyday, the routines he would go through would play the exact same way. But today was a very  odd day. Waking up early wasn't a typical thing he would do nor making a pleasant cup of coffee. Usually tea would be his morning booster but today felt like something had to be changed.

When he was done with his morning breakfast  he took it to the sink to clean it. He looked out the window and saw light crystals of snow. The sun appeared far away behind the clouds in the faint distance.

"Hmm. Snow...today? "

As he was getting ready for another boring day of work writing on people's lives. He found a book hidden behind his desk. " All the light we cannot see" he read out loud.
