He ran, it was the first and only thing on his mind. He couldn't stop and he wouldn't because if he did, he would only end up like the rest of them. Dead. He wasn't going to take the chance. He was running from something that could make the bravest of men cower in fear, a beast so ugly you wanted nothing more then to curl up in a ball and cry yourself to sleep. It's skin that was covered in hair or fur of some sort, only covered limited parts of its unhealthy-looking body. the bones showed through the skin threating to tear at any given moment, it glowed a creepy pale grey, and the veins showed pulsing a black liquid that was most likely to be its blood.

Its glowing pale white eyes could have pierced through the toughest of souls, its gaping mouth had drool oozing from every entrance it got the chance to. It's tongue moved around its teeth showing it was hungry for the only thing that could satisfy its hunger. Human flesh. Its head resembled that of a horse but was more hardened and had sharpened edges, causing it took as if it hadn't fed in quite a while, which wasn't interlay false it hadn't fed for some time and its next meal was the young man around about 24 years of age, that was running his hardest to escape its clutches and live.

He kept running even though his lungs begged him to stop and breathe, but he wasn't about to stop, not in a million years he wanted to get out of here and get back to his mother and father that would be worried sick. He had been here in this dark, creepy, eerie forest for 3 days and hadn't contacted his family which, was very strange. He would always send a text or call them at least once a day to make them feel better about having him so far away from home, where they couldn't have him in their arms. He thought maybe if he chanted his name in his head he would forget about the pain in his chest and the ache in his legs, so he started chanting it "PAUL, PAUL, PAUL, PAUL!!!!!" as he sang his name in his head he slowly forgot about the pain and his steps had quickened to give him more of a distance, the monster had moved slower in the chase and had soon given up. It knew it wasn't going to get him well at last not for now, that was for sure.

Night was soon to be here as the sun began to set, now some of the stars where even visible. This made him even more worried he wasn't going to able to see at all, and didn't bring his flashlight meaning he was going to have to settle down until the morning came. He spotted a large tree just a few meters from him, he walked over there slowly and carefully, once he had reached the tree he sat down imminently he was clearly tired and needed a rest, as he began to fall asleep he heard a little whisper saying something that sent chills down his spine " I wont let you live for long " it then gigged, after that chilling voice he heard nothing, but he was way to tired to do anything about it.

As the darkness covered the forest that very same monster was waiting to strike, and kill him once and for all, even though it may have the body of a disfigured animal, it still had feelings and yes it did show them sometimes, it wasn't always like this, in fact it use to look human, his name was Andy. Andy was a great kid, an amazing friend and a well-behaved son. He hated violence and was always against it, but as he grew into a teenager his perfect life was fading away, he was bullied for being the goody to shoes, getting his work done on time and always doing what he was told, after all it was what he was taught to do, but this angered the other students, he never did anything bad to them he often offered to help them with their school work, which you would think they would be grateful for, but no they were even more angry now, they took it as if he was calling them dumb, so they where going to get pay back on him. They didn't have a clear plan for what they where going to do they just wanted him to feel scared and weak.

It was a cloudy day and the bell for last period had rung, its sound drowning out by the loud chatter of students and teachers. Andy was making his way home when a group of 3 boys stopped him. One was tall and skinny while another one was short and chubby, but in the middle of these two was a medium sized boy he was neither chubby nor skinny he was in the middle. They looked at Andy with such hatred that not even the grumpy old lady on the end of his street could give, this made him worry a lot he didn't want to fight and quite frankly he wasn't that strong either. "um c-can I help you..." they boys looked quite amused they could scare him this quick, and by the looks on their faces Andy could tell to, "aww look... I think we made him scared" the tallest one said with a dark chuckle Andy really didn't like the way they were talking, and it scared the life out of him, "come on boys lets show him a great time" it was at that sentence that made him run, he ran like his life depended on it, which in his eyes it did. He ran into the first place he would think he could lose them, so he ran to the forest, the forest to him was a place where he wouldn't have to worry about anyone or anything for that matter, it was like a home away from home well that's what it felt like for him at least. As he was being chased deeper into the forest or woods he kept noticing things in the corner of his eyes, they where like black figures running along side with him, but he didn't stop to see them he was still being chased by these crazy kids , they where losing their breath but surprisingly he still had his and was running faster, they had to say he would be great on the running team, but didn't stop them they wanted to get him in their clutches and make wish he was never born, but their breath had finally gone and they couldn't run no more but, he on the other hand was still going at his fullest speed.

He then stopped when he reached a clearing in the forest, he rested his hands on his knees and took in more relaxing breaths, once he had calmed down he turned behind him to see if the boys where anywhere near where he was, which luckily, they weren't.

He had never seem this part of the forest before which meant he was lost, ' well this is just great, now I'm lost ' he thought, he had to find a way out or his mother wont be happy and she would also be worried sick about him, this was bad, very bad. Andy began to panic he really didn't want to be stuck in here, let a lone possibly die in here, so he began to walk in a random direction just hoping he could make it out before it gets anymore dark, that would be a nightmare and awful.

But time wasn't on his side today it had darkened too fast for his liking, soon the afternoon had turned into night and he had wandered even further into the woods, at this point he began to panic, that's when he managed to find an old house looking type building, it looked incredibly old and tatted, he slowly walked towards it just in case something where to jump out of it. With all signs of danger clear he opened the door to the house, inside is what you would describe to look like the queens house it was so well kept and fancy he couldn't believe a house so far into the woods would be so well kept but as he continued to look around a thought clouded his mind ' if the house is so well kept then that means someone is living here" he looked around a bit more, the house was so nice he couldn't believe It, but he had this feeling in his stomach that he was being watched, at that very moment a calm voice spoke " what are you doing in my house boy?" Andy froze, the voice seemed to me male but it could be female, he wouldn't be able to tell unless he saw the body of whoever was talking to him " well, are you going to answer me?" the voice seemed to in the age between 20-25, still young " y-yes sir" he answered in a voice that showed he was scared.

the figure stepped out into the light, and as Andy had thought, he was indeed male. the male was tall at least 6ft, his skin pale, almost had a glow to it. his eyes were pale as well, a grey colour to be on point, they looked hard yet soft at the same time. Andy would be lying if he said they were not attractive. the mans hair was a beautiful shade of black, it fell upon his shoulders, which looked very nice. the mans face was shaped to perfection, everything about him seemed perfect. the man opened his mouth to speak........
