Introduction
I was paralyzed.
My chest burned.
My lungs were dry.
And most of all, I was thirsty.
All I did was listen, it's all I had left. To hear wasn't as powerful as to see, or as to feel, but it's all I had. "She is still under." Someone said.
Most likely they were reffering to me. How badly I wanted to scream, I wanted them to know of my suffering. I wanted them to know I was still here, wherever here is. Of course, like a movie cliche- I can't even remember where I am, Should I know? I grunted slightly. Maybe that let them know. I tried moving all my weight off to the side of what I now figure is a couch. My arms were freezing like frozen stone. What could I forget that is so important? What do I remember? Hm. I'm Beverly Von Hagen, I'm 18 years old. My mother is dead, my father is missing. My sister is an insane asylum, and my boyfriend is probably dead. I wish I could sigh, if I could it'd be long. I'm blonde with green eyes. I'm a runaway, like my cousin. I'm weak to addictions. I am vegan.
Good. I know who I am, but where is that going to help me? My cat knows who she is, and she is as dumb as a wooden stool. I opened my mouth, my feeling was coming back. I wanted my eyes to overcome with this feeling too. "Evan." The same person said again. She was a girl, I discovered.
A pair of footsteps approached the couch. "Sorry?"
"She's coming to." She repeated with a sound of annoyance. "Her mouth opened."
Evan, or another unknown sat on the floor by the couch. "That's impossible- how long has it been?" he remarked, and I felt his ice cold hands touch my cheek; I shivered.
"Only four days." Another man replied, him having a deeper voice. "She's probably almost here."
"But doesn't it usually take 2 weeks Doctor Hall?" The girl inquired.
The deeper voiced man was Doctor Hall I'm assuming. Evan was the other boy. Who was the girl? How do I not know these names if they've been caring for me for four days? "More. I've never seen anything like this in History..." He examined. The doctor's breath blew across my face, I shivered again. "See? She just moved. How exhillarating!"
Two pairs of hands clapped. "Try the experiment on another human, see if they get the same results. This may be a breakout in History!" The girl giggled.
"Evegeniya may be right Doc." Evan agreed. "Beverly could be the start of a revolution!"
I picked out a lot from this little discovery: 1. They know my name. 2 .They're experimenting on me.. 3. The girl's name is Evegeniya and 4. I'm in danger.
