- There it is! I said and point at a red, covered bridge.

- It's beautiful, he said and stopped the car. He jumped out of the car and went to the back of it, and he grabbed his camera and his camera stand. Are you coming with me, or would you like to sit in the hot car?

- No, I'm coming, I said and jumped out. The sun was shining above us, and I followed Robert with my eyes. He went down to the ditch, and he put up his camera stand a bit from the bridge. I started to walk along the bridge, and I was watching him between the bridges cracks. He had something I didn't think men could have. There was something in his eyes that made me fall deeper and deeper.

Robert put his camera on the camera stand and I tried to hide

Robert put his camera on the camera stand and I tried to hide. I didn't want to ruin his picture by seeing me on them. So I went deeper and deeper into the darkness.

- There is some soda back of the car if you want to have some! He shouted.

- Would you like some?

- No thanks, not right now.

- Okay, I go and get some. I went back to the car and took out some soda from his mini-fridge. I turned around and I couldn't see him. I was searching for him. He had left his camera stand down in the ditch, so he hadn't walk away from the bridge. I passed the other side of the bridge and found him on the other side. He was standing in the ditch with some blue flowers in his hand.

- There you are!

- You got me, he said and went up to the bridge. Here you are, some flowers! I thought they looked nice, so I wanted you to have them! He said and held out his hand.

- I would love to have them, but they are poisonous so I don't think that's a good idea! And when I just finished that sentence, I see how Robert releases the flowers down to the ground. I started to laugh and told him that I was joking. He laughed and I helped him to pick them up again.

Why did I say that? It was stupid! But I'm glad that he understood my dumb joke. His eyes were shining, and his hand were touching mine when he gave me the flowers. They were beautiful, and they would match my kitchen.

We were on our way home, and we were talking again. When Richard and I used to sit in the car, we didn't talk very much. We often listen to the radio, but talking with Robert was different. He listened to me, and in some way, he understands what I was talking about.

- So you're from Italy! Where from?

- I grow up in war-torn called Naples. It's a little town, you have probably not heard of it.

- I have been there!

- What? No!

- Yeah, Naples. I was at a cafe there between the church. Lovely place! I really would like to go back someday, and maybe you wanna join me.

- Yeah! Of course. Are you married or something?

- I was married for a couple of years ago. You?

I showed him my rings on the left hand.

- Yeah! For such a long time that I can't count them, I sigh and looked out of the window.

The sun was on it way down. And the sky was pink with some purple clouds on it. It was still hot outside. I asked Robert how long he would stay here in Iowa, and he answered a couple of days. I asked him to have dinner with me. He said yes and we were on our way home.

He asked me if he could take a quick shower and I said yes. I told him about the well in the backyard. He went out and started to watch the sweat of his body. I was watching him from the bedroom. I don't know why I did that, but he had something that I couldn't resist. He was some random adventure guy, he had been searching and travelling around the world. The only place I have been to is Naples and Iowa. But Robert has been around Africa for example. What if he could take me with him.

I was watching him and watched myself in the mirror as well. "This is ridiculous" I tried to tell my self. But I couldn't resist it. Robert was another man and I know that I'm married. But I can't stop the feelings. I can't stop the thoughts. I can't stop the things going around in my head. Robert was all over me.
