Lobo and Luna

Lobo is the last human on Earth but he doesn't know that for he has lived alone deep within the forest. The reason for the extinction of man was due to an anomaly known only as the shadows, they take a shape of a wolf or a being that resembles a wolf for in this time there are no such things as well as the moon. The shadows only have the shape of a wolf but are vastly different they are like black smoke or simply a shadow with bloody red glowing eyes , but the shadows have a mortal enemy which is known only as the Drites they are fairy like creatures that shine brightly in the dark the shadows only exist in the darkness they do not appear in the morning that is why when it is dark they hunt but not for food but for passing down there darkness to other victims, the shadows do not eat they feed in darkness all they do is pass down their curse to other beings and they too will become a shadow. Due to the threat of the Drites they must eradicate them in any means necessary the darkness has found a magical orb that can contain all the Drites and they succeeded in capturing all of them all but one the one that escaped was Luna. Luna manages to get the orb whilst at the same time she was given the task of protecting the last human alive. Lobo is the only survivor for he lives deep within the woods.

One day Lobo was out fishing on the lake a figure appeared it was Luna! Luna told Lobo everything and stated that she will protect Lobo no matter what. Years have passed there were no sign of the shadows anywhere Lobo and Luna was living life to the fullest until they have fallen for each other but never admitted it. One day lobo had decided to court Luna, being musically talented Lobo sang to Luna, Luna was very moved by the song that she cried tears of joy but a last she told Lobo that their love for each other must never blossom for Luna stated that if she and Lobo were to fall in love it would affect her quest to protect Lobo. Lobo was furious and walked away from Luna and what was a joyful tear became wailings of pain and sadness for she did not wish to hurt Lobo but to only protect him and if she had loved him it would affect her judgments.

This is what the shadows were waiting for, for Lobo to be separated from Luna as far as possible. They immediately attacked Lobo straight in the heart Luna heard his cry for help and rushed towards him she fended of the other shadows before they have retreated Luna noticed that Lobo is slowly turning into a shadow Luna panicked and did not know what to do, then suddenly Luna only had one thing on her mind. Before the transformation is complete Luna gave up all her power to create an everlasting light using the orb with the trapped Drites as well. Which in turn she loses her life. The transformation was stopped or at least it was changed. He was no longer human but a real wolf not a dark apparition but a solid breathing animal while Luna's sacrifice turned her into the moon which in turn gives eternal light in the dark and all of the shadows never appeared again. Now whenever it is night Lobo would go out and sing for Luna a song that is interpreted as a howl -the end
