Chapter 10

SHANE'S POV

Really? They made me go get Carl.. I don't know where the boy went . How should I know ? But I am worried about the boy.. He disappeared so suddenly .

"Shane , you seen Carl ? I've been looking everywhere for him.." Rick asked worriedly .

"I'm going to look for him now . You just get back to the house . They need help up there.. It's Meghan... Daryl is going insane and Lori is doing her best to hold everyone together ." I replied .

"On my way ." Rick said with a serious expression .

CARL'S POV

I didn't mean to yell at her like that..I was just scared..I hope she understands...

My thoughts were interrupted suddenly as I heard a voice . The voice of a man . The stranger .

"Hey kid , come here . Please ? I'm not gonna hurt you." He said softly .

I moved a little closer . He must not think I'm gonna let him go right ? After all that ?

"There you go , please help me .. Don't let them kill me.. Pl-" I interrupted him suddenly and angrily .

"You really think I'm gonna let you go just like that!?! Are you kidding me!! You almost killed her!!!" I screamed . It all came flowing out then . All the emotions I've ever felt . I started to cry...

"What the hell is going on in here!?!" Shane came bursting in .

I could feel my eyes get wide and anger filled as I reached for my gun . I held it toward the stranger . But then...I lowered it... I couldn't do it...

"Get out of here . And you!" He said looking at the stranger suddenly . "Don't ever talk to that boy , or that little girl again . Got it ? You do and I'll have you killed on the spot ."

"You gonna tell my parents ?" I asked .

"Boy you've got greater things to worry about . Something happened..." He paused , looking down .

"What happened!?! What is it!?!" I yelled getting scared .

"It's Meghan..."
