"Hey guys!" Max said when we reached the end of the stairs. "Hello ladies" Dustin said with a funny growl. We all laughed and joined them at the couches and chairs down there. "We were just playing some D&D. Want to play?" Lucas asked. "No thanks. We'll watch" Mickey said. We all agreed and they continued to play like we weren't there. "Kaysie" I heard a whisper near me. I looked where it came from and saw Jane. "Yeah?"

"Are you not going to say hello to Mike?" She asked, I chuckled. "He's a little busy right now" I whispered back. She nodded and smiled to me. "I rolled a 7!" Will shouted. The guys groaned, "Oh no!" Lucas said while they threw pieces of the game at each other. "Game over for now. I need a drink from all this stress" Dustin said before going upstairs for a drink. Mike sat next to me and Lucas next to Max while Will stayed in spot and pulled out his phone. Then Jane went up to him and they started a conversation. "You look beautiful" Mike said holding my hand. I smiled and thanked him. "You look very handsome" I said and kissed his cheek. He blushed and kissed my cheek also. 

Dustin came back and everyone got involved in a big conversation. "But don't you think if you were to get you're leg cut off, you wouldn't feel it? I mean, it's no longer attached!" Dustin shouted. "No! You would still feel the pain of the ripped leg! Not the dislocated leg!" Mickey argued. "But" Suzie said, "Don't you think you'd feel that your blood and bone is missing? Like when you get a scratch, you still feel it, right? Or when you break an arm?" She argued. I don't know how we got onto this topic but everyone seemed to be so interested in it. "Kids! It's time to eat!" Karen called from upstairs. We all got up and followed Mike to the kitchen for food. 

Once we got our food we sat at one of the tabled in the dining and living room. Mike was one one side of my and Suzie on the other. "Before we eat, I would love to thank every single one of you for coming today. I am so happy that you wanted to spend your Christmas Eve with everyone!" Karen said. We all cheered in response and she told us to eat while she sat back down. I was sitting across from Will and I saw him get really uncomfortable and shaky. That was until, I think, Johnathan came up behind him and whispered something in his ear. Then he had a smile and continued to eat his ham. 

Mike intertwined his leg with mine under the table and a hid a joking smile by leaning my head down to eat my lasagna. I looked over at him and he instantly met my eyes and winked at me. I held in a laugh and took a sip of my drink. 

We all finished our food and went back downstairs. "I want to watch a movie" Suzie whined. This girl and her movies, damn. "What movie?" Mike asked. "Any honestly" She said. "Oh my god! A horror movie!" Mickey shouted. Dustin instantly hid under the covers while Max laughed. "Well, I'll need a pillow to hide under... But sure" Dustin said from under the covers. Mike laughed and went to the cabinet full of movies. "What one, Saw or Texas Chainsaw?" He asked. "Texas Chainsaw!!" Mickey chanted. She loves that movie. I watch it all the time with her, even though we always get scared. He nodded with a laugh and put it in the DVD player. Then everyone got comfortable. Mickey and Suzie sat in the love seat with each other. Will, Dustin, and Jane sat in the other couch. Then Max and Lucas sat on one side of the couch while Mike and I sat on the other. Mike gave everyone a blanket and some pillows to Dustin. 

The movie started and Mike shut off the lights then took his seat next to me. He laid the blanket on us and wrapped his arm over my shoulder. I cuddled into his side and he rested his free hand on the outside of my thigh. One of the scary parts came on soon and Mickey squealed and hid into Suzie while they both hid under the blanket. I hid my face into Mike's chest and covered my  head with my hand. I felt his chest move up and down, that probably means he's laughing at me. I looked up after a heard a girlish squeal. It was Dustin hiding his body under the covers. I couldn't help but to chuckle. 

I pulled the blanket closer to my head and hid my face into Mike's chest. His free hand went to my hair and played with the ends of it. "You okay?" He whispered. I nodded and cuddled deeper into his side. Honestly, I was tired and scared and I just want to take a nap. "Will? You okay?" I heard Lucas ask. I took my head out of Mike's chest and looked towards Will. He was shaking again like before at the table. He made eye contact with me and had begging in his eyes. "Help" He whispered. I instantly got up and went to him. "Come on, let's go outside" I said, going up to him. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him outside. "I can't feel myself"  He whimpered when we walked outside. "It's okay Will. What's going on?" I asked. He was turning pale and shaking much more vigorously. 

"I-i-i" He cried. He just shook more. I grabbed his arms and held them as tight as I could to keep him still. He had no heat in him whatsoever. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. "I just want to be normal again" He cried as he hid his head into my neck. I put one hand on his head and the other around his torso to keep him up in case he fell. "Will, you were lying when you said you were okay yesterday, weren't you?" I asked him. He cried harder and nodded into my neck. "I'm sorry. I don't want to cause a scene. I just want this shadow to be out of my life but I can't stop seeing the same part of the forest. It's where I was first taken into the upside down. But I just can't erase it from my memory" He couldn't stop crying and shaking. 

"Will?" I heard a voice say. I looked to where the voice came from and saw Johnathan. He ran up to us. "Will buddy are you okay?" He asked. Will let go of me and fell to the ground. I knelled next to him and put my hand under his head so he didn't bang it on anything. "Wait, you're the person from Monday!" Johnathan said, taking a look at me. "Yes, I am. Why?" I asked. "Hopper said you are essential for helping Will! Please, help him now!" He begged. "I can't in the moment, I don't have enough information on everything yet. All I know is that this thing  inside of him hates the heat, and Will is lacking body heat right now. So we should get him very warm before he becomes an ice cube" 

Johnathan picked up Will and brought him to the basement where all the other kids were anxiously waiting. "Wrap him up in all of the blankets" I ordered. Lucas went up the stairs and closed the door while everyone threw the blankets at me. I laid one under Will and the other I laid on top of him and tucked him in. "Why are we doing this exactly?" Mike asked. "Will has no body temp right now. The thing inside of him hates the heat so clearly it got rid of the heat in his body. So now, we need to warm him up again or he become an ice cube. That wouldn't be good" I put a pillow under his head and we all sat around him anxiously. Let's hope this works...
