"Tara? Is that you?" Levi says walking over to Logan and I.

I walk backwards dragging Logan with me. Logan looks at me with concern and confusion in his eyes.

"When did you arrive in California?" Levi asks, wrapping his arms around me.

"Back off!" I say wriggling out of Levi's hold.

"What's wrong T," Levi asks, "I didn't mean to scare you."

"Just leave me alone Levi!" I yell, "Come on Logan lets go."

I walk in front of Logan, making sure he can protect me from behind. Only, I take one step and Levi is in front of me, blocking the exit.

"Seriously T. What's wrong?" Levi says, gripping my shoulders.

Logan steps in a second later, and pushes Levi off me, "Dude. I think you should leave."

"Why? I'm not causing her, or anyone else harm," Levi replies.

"Just go Lev," I say.

"Fine, but I'm not going for you pretty boy, I'm going for her," Levi says pushing Logan with his shoulder.

Logan taps Levi on the shoulder, and he turns around. Logan punches Levi hard in the face, and he falls to the ground, unconscious.

"Come on. Let's just go," I say.

I grab Logan's arm and drag him out of the laser tag building to the parking lot. I let go of his arm, and get in the car. Logan stands there, in front of the car, for a minute or two. He then gets in the car and turns it on. Since I couldn't see on the way here, I look out the window the whole time, trying to figure out where we are. I also look out the window, because I don't want to talk to Logan or anybody right now.

"Tara? What happened back there?" Logan says with his eyes on the road.

"I don't want to talk about it," I say.

Logan stays silent the whole ride to the hotel. Even as we're climbing up the stairs to the 18th floor.

"Tara? We need to talk about this, " Logan says.

"Logan. I have to pack for my sister's wedding," I say unlocking my door, "I'll call you later."

Logan grabs my arm like I did his minutes ago.

"Please," Logan says, "talk to me."

And that's what I do. I tell him everything.

Logan and I are now sitting on my couch, with me crying into his shirt, and Logan hugging me, telling me everything is going to be alright.

I escape his grasp and walk to the kitchen for a glass of water. I put my glass up to the water dispenser in my fridge. I fill it till it's half full.

"Do you want anything?" I ask Logan from the kitchen.

"No thank you," Logan replies.

We sit there on the couch, with me drinking my water. I take a sip at every awkward moment.

Sip

Sip

Sip

I finish my water and take the glass to the sink.

"Want to play Hide-and-Seek?" I say.

I'm sitting in my black leather office chair that I use for all my gaming, with Logan sitting at my kitchen table. We've been playing GMOD Hide-and-Seek for the past hour. The game seemed to take all the awkwardness away, for the moment.

I let Logan use my laptop to play, since I didn't want him cheating.

"Tara! I don't even know what map this is!" Logan says looking closely at his screen.

"That's because you've never played Hide-and-Seek before," I reply.

"I've played hide and seek before!" he screams.

"But you said you've never played?" I say, taking my eyes off the huge screen.

"I have played," he says, "the outside version."

"Tease!" I yell, looking back to my awesome hiding spot.

I'm currently hiding in a cheatsy spot Nanners showed me.
