"yah, jihoon!" i pulled away

"shhh." he pointed to the sky.

fireworks were shooting up. it was an amazing view. the fireworks stopped and at the perfect time, the ferris wheel started moving again. it stopped for jihoon and i to get down.

it was really awkward between jihoon and i after that. i didnt want to start a conversation but i guess i had to.

"sooo, are you gonna talk to me or. . .?" i asked.

"erm, i'll send you home." jihoon smiled.

"okay then." i smiled back.

he interlocked his hands with mine, killing the shit out of me.

we walked back to my house and it was getting really late. i didnt expect us to still be awkward but yeah we are.

"jihoon, you can go now. i'll just walk straight and there's my house." i smiled.

"no way im letting you walk there by yourself! its too dangerous! plus, its already midnight!" jihoon panicked.

"its fine~ i walk here everydayy!" i ensured him.

"fine. but no next time!" jihoon smiled and pecked me on my forehead.

i smiled and started to walk away from jihoon. not gonna lie , it was honestly scary. it was dark and it was an alley. but i didnt want jihoon to be exhausted. i guess i'll just stop imagining too much.

"jaerinnnn~" i heard someone say.

"JIHOON!" i turned around smiling, thinking that jihoon called me. "seongwoo? what are you doing here?"

"oh sweetie, i have been waiting." seongwoo came to me and grabbed my hand.

"yah! seongwoo! let! go!" i tried to loosen his grip, panicking.

"what's so great about jihoon huh? why do you only think about him?!" he pushed me to the wall.

"look at what you're doing now, hurting me! this isn't something jihoon would do!" i raised my voice, still struggling from his tight grip.

hearing that, he gave me a slap.
"AH!" i groan. it hurt. like a nail just pierced through my cheeks.

"too bad, jihoon isn't here anymore. you're mine now, park jaerin." seongwoo smirked.

he dragged me behind a pile of boxes and pinned me up against the wall. he started to lean in towards my neck and i kept wiggling to loosen his grip.

"AHHHHHH!! PARK JIHOON! PARK JIHOON!" i screamed at the top of my lungs.

with that, another slap landed on my face. the same, hard one. the one that hurt.

"STOP CALLING HIS NAME!" seongwoo raised his voice.

suddenly, a pair of hands pulled seongwoo away and i dropped onto the ground. the mysterious figure punched seongwoo strongly. seongwoo groaned but the figure kept beating him up.

"STAY AWAY FROM JAERIN!" the figure shouted. it sounded like. . .like. . .jihoon.

"let's go." the figure grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the alley.

"ji. . .hoon?" i mumbled once we were outside my house gate.

"i told you it was dangerous! what would happen to you if i didnt hear you scream?! you would've gotten raped!" jihoon snapped.

"im sorry! how would i know this would happen to me?!" i smacked his chest. "stupid, ong seongwoo!"

i broke down in tears and sat on the rough pavement with the thought of me almost getting raped by seongwoo.

"dont cry. . .im here." jihoon pulled me up.

i looked up to his face and he gave me a long kiss on my lips while hugging me tightly.

"its my fault for letting you walk alone." jihoon tapped on my back. "stop crying, you must feel frightened right now. i'll stay with you for the night?" he asked.

i nodded my head and opened the gate to my house.

i pulled jihoon to my room and got a few shirts for him. luckily i had shirts and sweatpants that were WAY TOO OVERSIZED to the extend that jihoon could fit.

jihoon showered first and then i did. after that, he brushed his teeth with the new toothbrush i offered and so did i with my own.

when we were done, i switched off the lights and we slept on the bed. i wanted to put a bolster as the barrier but jihoon hugged me sideways on the bed.

"lets just sleep." jihoon tone went to the deepest of the deepest and i was too soft. within his comfortable embrace, i fell asleep soon after.
