school is over. martinus has left already because he wanted to go play some football, i mean soccer. i have nowhere to rush so i stayed here for a little longer.

i close my locker and hear someone opening theirs a little further. i look to the direction where the sound was coming from and see madison. perfect.

"hey mads, wanna come over?" i ask leaning to the locker next to hers. i open my hair from the bun as i'm waiting for her response.

"if you promise you'll never speak norwegian to me again." she says.

"why would i promise you that? you know you like it anyways." i wink.

"yea so i guess i'll be heading home now." she says and closes her locker.

"okay okay i promise, let's go." i sigh and take out my car keys. "i'm driving."

we walk out the big glass doors to the parking lot. i unlock my car and open the door for madison. i can tell she's trying to hide a smile which is appearing on her face.

i chuckle before stepping in myself too. i close the door and start driving home. i put on some music. i decide to play one of mine and martinus' old norwegian songs.

to dråper vann starts playing and as soon as the first line comes madison turns it off. that girl really must hate norwegian.

"i swear i'm gonna jump out of this moving car if i have to listen to those norwegian mice again." she threatens. ouch, mice?

"just to let you know, one of those mice is me." i say and put the radio back on. this time there's a song on by katy perry.

i pull up in the driveway and stop the car. we both step out and i lock it again. i open the front door and walk in.

"do you want something to eat?" i ask. madison nods so i lead her to the kitchen. i take something out from the fridge and we start eating.

"can you unblock me on instagram by the way?" i ask.

"fine." she says and takes out her phone. i smile but she just rolls her eyes.

we decided on watching a movie because we couldn't think of anything else to do. so now we're sitting on my bed watching the film from my tv.

i look at the time. it's getting kind of late but i don't want madison to leave yet. but it's a school night so i guess there's no choice.

"i think i should be getting home. i still have to get my car from school." madison says and gets up from the bed.

"i can drive you back to school so you won't have to walk in the dark. there could be a kidnapper out there." i suggest getting up as well.

"it's only like a mile or something. i think i can survive." she says and leaves my room. i sigh and close the tv.
