Chapter 1: Oli

I was running through a large open area, devoid of color. The only two colors were the color of red behind me, being emitted from whatever was chasing me. The other color, was purple and coming from up ahead. Whenever I got close enough to see what it was, it darted farther and farther away. When I couldn't see the purple anymore, i turned and the red was upon me. I tripped and fell into the hard, cold lifeless ground. I turn around to face whatever it is that's chasing me. As I study it I notice that it's all my deepest fears combined into one evil essence.

Shooting straight out of bed I reach for my head. I was dripping in a cold sweat.

"Gross."

Looking at the clock I notice that it's four in the morning. Throwing myself out of bed I mumble what would've been incomprehensible swears. Bumping into counters and corners of my flat, I try to awake enough to see where I'm going. After what seems like an eternity I make it to my restroom.

With bloodshot eyes staring back at me through the mirror, I study my light complexion. Outlining my tattoos with my eyes, I realize I'm now wide awake. Fuck I might as well make some tea and get to work. Writing is hard for most people, but it's easy for me. It just takes time.

I walk into the kitchen and make myself some tea, not in the least bit ready to start the day.

Humming to myself I begin to write. Just simple lyrics. It used to be hard for me to write a song, now I can write one completely in a couple hours. The real tricky part is getting the instrumentals and the band to play them exactly how I want it.

No matter how long I work or am awake my mind always go back to my reoccurring dream.

I glance at the clock. It reads 10:00AM.

"Shit I'm late!" I gasps while throwing on clean clothes and running out the door.

----------------

I reach my studio. I'm so glad I could meet up with some friends in the middle of their tour.

Opening the door I find Jack and Alex waiting in the lounge.

"Long time no see, I'm guessing you missed my hot bod."

"Shut up Jack we're in HIS studio after all."

Smirking I greet them, "I'm glad you guys could make it, you ready for breakfast?"

I drive us to my favorite diner making small talk about All Time Low's UK tour. We finally get to the restaurant after thirty minutes of London traffic. It's called Addison Road Cafe. I walk in and instantly walk to my favorite table. It overlooks the whole of London, and if you get here early enough you can see a magnificent sunrise.

"Mr. Sykes, good to see you again!"

I hear the waiter say while rushing over to great me. I come here so often that everyone knows me by name. My table is almost always open, they reserve it for me. After we get situated in, the waiter is instantly there to give us menus and glasses of water. I go to thank him, but realize I had just spaced his name. He hadn't been here for very long, but he has served me before. Fuck why couldn't I remember.

"Aaahhh thank you." Says Alex as he reaches for his glass of water.

"Yes thanks!" I chip in.

"You're welcome, I'll give you gentleman a few minutes to look over the menu. Let me know if you need anything!"

He turns on his heels and walks away. Leaving us to talk amongst ourselves.

"So have you found the owners of any of the bras you receive at your concerts?" I ask Jack, causing Alex to spit out his water.

"Oh I know them all, most have names and numbers sewn in so I'll call them. I have them all in a contact book in case I need a quick lay."

We all sit there laughing for a moment. I'm glad they made time to see me, even if we haven't talked much and aren't that close. The waiter comes back and we place our orders. After a moment Alex breaks the tension.

"So it really freaks me out how we drive on the left side of the road here."

"Hahaha why do you guys drive on the right?! That's idiotic.!"

"No it's not." Jack chimes in.

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"Ye-"

"OKAY THATS ENOUGH." Alex groans while slugging Jack in the arm.

After more small talk we get our food and dig in. We continue to have small meaningless conversations. Jacks lathers his hash browns in ketchup.

"Americans." I think while rolling my eyes.

When we finish eating I get down to business.

"So what do you guys think about what I asked?"

Jack and Alex look at each other and have a silent discussion motioning for each other to tell me. Finally Jack speaks up.

"We talked to the guys. And we would love to tour with Bring Me The Horizon!"

----------

It had been three hours after our little brunch. Jack and Alex were long gone. I called everyone in for a group meeting. Once everyone arrives I decide to explain what's going on.

" so guys, I talked to the record company. We're doing a world tour-"

I was interrupted by a bunch of cheers and whistles. I stop immediately and glare around the small room. Once it dies down I continued.

"As I was saying, we're going to tour the world. Our first show is in Tokyo, and we make our way back west through Asia and Europe on several flights. Then we fly across the Atlantic, get on our bus and tour North America. We go to a couple South American countries. We end up in LA and finish the tour there. It will take us roughly four months to complete the tour. I would already have the dates set up, but we still need to get the other bands on board for the tour."

I end that sentence with a wink and leave the room, ignoring various questions and comments. This allows the tour manager to explain more and go further into detail. I feel bad holding this back information from my band, but it was my tour to set up. I don't want to burden them. One down. Three to go.
