Chapter 5

*ZACH'S POV*

When Daniel opens the door, I tried calling Y/n out, but there wasn't an answer.

Me and the boys walk in and see Stella sitting down by her bed, tears coming out non-stop.

"Stella, what happened?" I ask.

"S-she" she suddenly stops.

"Stella. Tell us. She's what?" Jack said.

Stella: She's in a coma.

Zach: I still don't get it. How did this happen?

Stella: As I saw in the security camera footage, a car came speeding into the Krispy Kreme shop, where Y/n was in.

Zach: ...AND...

Stella: It ran into the shop and pushed out people in it's way.

Zach: That doesn't make sense, how did she get this injured?

Stella: As soon as the car entered the shop, Y/n turned around. And she saw that a kid was about to get hit. Then she pushed the kid out and got hit in the girl's place.

Zach:  What. Happened. To. The. Driver.

Stella: He ran away as soon as Y/n got hit.

*STELLA'S POV*


When told Zach the story, he kept interrupting me, but I understand him, he cares a lot about my best friend. They even had a child together.

When I finally managed to finish telling the whole story, I could see that Zach was extremely pissed off. His hands were closed, as like he was about to throw a punch at any moment.

His eyes turned dark, his face became more... sad. Then he just stormed off out of the room.

The boys went after him, checking if he didn't do anything extreme because f what happened.

*ZACH'S POV*


I couldn't stand seeing Y/n like that. She's pale, machines all around her.

She seemed lifeless.

I promised myself that I would stick with her through thick and thin. But what happened? Why is this happening to her?

I don't want to lose my one and only love.

*Fast forward to three months later*

*ZACH'S POV*

Three months have passed and Y/n still hasn't woken up from her coma.

Stella and Gabriela have been living with us ever since, Gaby needs someone to take care of her, and Stella can't manage all of that. So I decided to help her by letting her live with us until Y/n wakes up and recovers.

Gaby has grown so much, these past months. She misses her mother, of course, but at least she has her father for now.

Me, the boys an Stella still haven't lost hope, we know that one day, Y/n will wake up, and be back with us, stronger than ever.

I visit her every day, hoping that in one of those moments, where I am beside her, she will wake up.

One day, we receive a call from the hospital.

Doctor: Hello? Is this Stella?

Stella: Yes, yes it is. Is there any problem over there?

Doctor: Please come to the hospital, ASAP.

Stella: Sure.

We all rush into the car, get to the hospital and rush to my girl's room.

When we arrived, the doctor told us that we weren't able to enter, and that we should wait in the waiting room.

As I carry my one and only daughter, I can see her get more and more tense, like she's about to cry at any moment.

"Hey, baby. Don't cry, okay? Mommy is going to be fine in there, okay? You will get to see her again. I promise." I say to Gaby calmly.

She soon calms down and the doctor comes to us.

Doctor: She woke up, but she only wants to see Stella and Gabriela.

Zach: Oh... okay...

Doctor: Zach, you and the boys can go in too, maybe just a bit after Stella and your daughter.

Stella and Gabriela go in Y/n's room and after what seemed like forever, they finally came out.

Stella: I haven't told Y/n about you yet, but she's pretty calm... I think she's just tired, but you can go and see her. But, I have to go with you.

Zach: Sure.

I walk with Stella and carry Gabriela and walk in Y/n's room.

She sits up from her bed, looking at me confused, like I wasn't supposed to be here.

Y/n: Z-Zach? What are you doing here? Why are you holding your- I mean, Gabriela? You were supposed to be in Dallas. No, wait. You were supposed to come tomorrow for the collab with you and your bandmates!

Zach: Um... Y/n? We made the collab four months ago...

Y/n: Wait... what? So if you know about little Gaby, does that mean...

Zach: Yes, you told me about her and no, we are not together again. At least not yet.

Y/n: Why aren't we back together?

Zach: You don't want me in your life, remember?

Y/n: Really? Cuz last time I thought about it, I wanted me and you to get back together.

Zach: Are you serious?

Y/n: No.

Zach: Oh...

Y/n: I'm Y/n!

My face remains emotionless while Y/n and her best friend burst into laughter. I set Gabriela down and she goes to her mother, gently hugging her.

Y/n: Oh come on, Zach. You know I love you with all my heart.

Zach: W-What?

Y/n: Come and kiss me, lover boy.

I walk up to her and gently stroke her hair. She blushes at my touch and smiles at me. We both slowly lean in and our lips finally touch. I missed her. Her soft lips, her soft hair, her voice... her. I finally got the girl of my dreams.

I had her, then I lost her. But then I got her back. This time, I am never letting her go.

This is only the beginning of our love story and our career.
