He appeared around the corner from the main T-junction. It was busy, full of people. He was lucky he wasn’t spotted, they were all too busy. He didn’t even know if he was going to find this guy, he didn’t even know what to look for. He walked with the crowd, merging in and out of people. Kage was starting to get odd stares from shopkeeper’s and pedestrians, they don’t usually see children out during the day, in school uniform.
He crossed the street and heading to the fashion district, he thought Ayumi would have been around that area when she saw the man. He was starting to get tired, Kage wasn’t a big fan of crowds. He took a break a sat on a bench in front of clothing store. Kage’s phone went off. He got out his phone, it was a text from Ayumi.
“Why aren’t you in maths? Where are you? The teacher is looking for you.”
Kage started to punch in buttons to reply to Ayumi’s messege. His phone was snatched from his hands . He looked up and saw a scruffy mugger and his phone snapped in half in his dirty hand.
“You. Kid, Gimme your wallet”
Kage stood up, stared at the man for a moment and ran straight through the middle of the road. The mugger was shocked and ran after him dodging cars and civilans. Kage bumped through the crowds trying to find a clear exit, the mugger just pushed them out of the way. Kage ran into and alley and jumped over a fence. He could hear the mugger calling out. He couldn’t risk teleporting again, but right now it looked like the only option. Kage’s escape stopped when he came to a dead end. He leaned against the wall catching his breath and waited for the mugger to appear. He looked over to his right to find a green door. It looked old and it didn’t look like it leaded to anywhere. Kage turned to knob and ran inside, pushing his back up against the door. The building was a nightclub. It was dark with neon lights lighting the floor. The air was like mist and the roof was filled with fog. He could see the two disc jockeys on the platform in the center, they looked like robots. He saw a lounge area and walked over to it and sat down. A man sat on the couch directly in front of him.
“What’s a child doing in a place like this?” the man spoke.
Kage didn’t answer.
The man stood up, Kage couldn’t see what he looked like in the dark. The man grabbed Kage by the shoulder and threw him through the red curtains which were behind the bar. Kage landed on a white fluffy carpet. The room was pure white. One white couch, one white carpet, one white light and one white table. The man walked into the room. He was tall, blonde haired with glasses wearing a plain white suit and tie.
“Kage Okami. You are one of the most dumbest people I have ever met.”
