A few months after escaping to France. King Francis married Anne in May 1536. As far as the country knew, Anne dé Pessilu was a widow of a year with a 2 year old daughter, Elisabeth dé Pessilu. It was a grander wedding and grander coronation then her first one. Francis made Elizabeth a Princess of France. She was known as Her Royal Highness, Princess Elisabeth of France.
