The Move Out

I finished highschool easily with a high gpa and I managed to get a scholarship to the same college Danny was going to for computer engineering. Danny got her's for business accounting.

As I drove home with Danny from the graduation ceremony after dropping off Jaden and her boyfriend Elliot, I was asked a question that I've been pondering over sense I started my senior year. "Hey Gun, now that we are graduates wunna move in with me?" I nearly slammed on my breaks at that question. It's like she read my mind. "Uhhhhhh heh heh heh," I said nervously, "I would love to but, I'm in the works of taking care of my grandparents and my parents." "Gun, they are in their 40s to 80s they've spoken care of you and 3 others, they can be fine on there own." I let out a soft sigh, I'll admit she has a point. I am a really big handful. I'm pretty much a kid trapped in an adults body. "Alrighty then, I'll move in with you." She lets out a soft fan girly scream. We continue the car ride to my place listening and singing to songs that came from a playlist I made on YouTube; Mi Mundo, back when I was a freshman.

-FLASH BACK 3 YEARS-

"What will I do without your smart mouth, drawing me in, and you kicking me out." I sang desperately trying to get Danny to sing along. I somewhat gave up getting her to sing along when Closer, by Chainsmokers, came on. She then started singing along,"So baby pull me closer, in the back seat of you rover, that I know you can't afford, bite that tattoo on your shoulder, pull the sheets right off the corner of the mattress that you stole from your room back in Clover. We ain't ever gettin older." As I listened to her singing I was astonished at how well she was singing it. Every syllable, every rhyme perfectly matched with the rhythm. Not necessarily in tune but to me, it was beautiful. I started singing along whilst looking at her and when the song ended we both were leaning on the wall of the band hall with her hand in mine. I leaned in and placed a soft kiss on her lips I pulled away slightly keeping our foreheads touching. After a while of staring into her eyes, I feel her lips press against mine. The kiss lasted for a short time before I felt my hand trace her inner thigh and around to her lower back. I pulled her closer to me, making the kiss more heated. I bit her buttom lip a bit and soon entered my tongue, exploring every inch of her mouth, as she did the same with mine.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

When we got back I searched for my parents and grandparents to tell them the news. I gathered them in the living room and had them sit. But my stubborn dad decided to stand. As I told them they didn't seem shocked, more relieved. My mom was the first to speak, "Bout damn time boy, thought you where never gunna leave!" "That's nice, thanks mom." then my dad, "Best take care of your yard more than you do with this one." Followed by my grandma then grandpa, "Finally, you know your turning into quite the man." "If you ever need anything just ask your oh mama," she ended with a smile. We all laughed at the end and they helped pack. I decided to leave a few things here in case they need some sort of reminder of me.

I put my suitcases in the trunk of my car and wait for Danny to buckle up, gotta be safe. I drive to Danny's place and when we got there, the air around us felt awkward. We are finally living together, it's now our home and I have no idea what to do.

I finally break the silence, "What do I do now?" "Well, we aren't married yet so it can't be me," she says with a smile on her face," So I guess you can help me reorganize my room for your stuff. And I saw you brought your Xbox One so just set it in the living room downstairs." "Alrighty, I'll get to setting up my console while you organize a bit in our room. Then when I'm down I'll help you, sounds like a plan?" "Yep."

I was finally able to set up the Xbox, having a bit of struggle do to cobwebs and spider, I hate spider, alot. I head up stairs and see Danny sitting on her bed going through her cloths sorting then out, whilst listening to her playlist on spotify, Havana is currently playing. I sit beside and unzip my suitcase and ask where my cloths go,"The long dresser by the closet." "Kk." We sing and dance every now and then while we put our cloths away. The bed somehow got messed up during our cleaning session so we remade our bed.

At almost perfect unison, our stomachs growled, signaling our bodies that we are hungry. We headed to the kitchen and I cooked the first thing that came to mind, spaghetti. We decided to make it from scratch. She did the noodles while I pureed the  to make the sauce, we pretty much danced to our music while we where cooking, occasionally bumping butts.

By the time the noodles have finished getting mixed, rolled, cut into strips, and boiled, I've finished the sauce. We mixed the sauce and noodles together in a bowl and started working on the garlic bread. I preheated the oven and worked on the garlic sauce. The sauce contained, garlic, obviously, butter, parmesian, and basil. I cut the loaf in half and Danny gathered the sauce on the bread. When we were done we stuck it in the oven.

When everything was done we sat at the couch eating and watching anime. I let her pick what anime and she chose Yuri on Ice. We ate and laughed and cuddled all through the night. When we were done we watched a few more episodes and decided to go lay down in bed.

And just like when I got here the air was full of awkwardness. I stood at the side of the bed nervously, not knowing what to do, "Just get in the bed already!" Kept going through my mind. I must have spaced out thinking of what I do next cuz I was suddenly pushed ontop of the bed by Danny and she jumped ontop of me with her legs to either side of me. Red began filling my face, I was very confused as to why I'm so nervous, "We've done this before why am I being so shy!?!" I thought to myself. My thoughts were interruptedso to a kiss being planted on my lips. "Don't worry gun, it'll get more comfortable. Just think of this as those time you spent the night at my parents with me when they where gone." "O- Ok baby." Out of nowhere I gained a huge amount if confidence and I rolled her over so I'm ontop of her. "I'm not worried about sleeping with you, I'm worried I might try something stupid." I placed a soft kiss but long and passionate kiss on her lips, biting at her buttom lip. I trailed the kisses down from her lips to her neck, leaving marks. I lifted my head up from her neck to see her face, completely red and shocked. I let out a little giggle, "I'm sorry, let's go to sleep. Leave this for another day."

And into that we fell asleep, her head on my chest, arm around my torso, and her legs wrapped around mine. I started playing with her hair for bit then sleep took over us both.
