I walk as fast as I can to the healers quarters. I've made it through three classes without getting noticed and without making eye contact just like Heidi said. It was time to take my medicine for my panic attacks and hopefully eat lunch since Heidi isn't here to eat with me. I walk up to the door straightening taking a deep breath in giving it a light but stern knock.

a soft "come in" comes from the other side.

I open it peeking my head in "Hello Mrs. Canyon" I give her a small smile sliding the door closed behind me

She looks up from her studies infront of her on her desk flashing me a warm smile where it reaches her eyes they wrinkle in the corners "Harper, please, I told you can call me Callie" she scolds me turning around in her desk chair to face me her jet black hair flows in waves over her shoulders with wisps of silver. Her plum colored top brings out her soft violet eyes she peers at me over her glasses that are pushed down to the tip of her nose. I stare for a moment noting for the second time today I'm struck with awe from the Canyon family's royal bloodline. I'm fascinated by the violet in her eyes I've never seen eyes quite like hers.

She stands towering over me her grey pencil skirt smoothing down her slender frame stopping at the tops of her knees where it was just bunched moments ago from sitting. She's around the same size as Heidi she has the same athletic build but she's just a little taller maybe five eleven at most. I take a guess that it has something to do with her being the Luna of the pack.

"Please sit and tell me how was your summer?" She gestures behind her waving her hand

Brushing past her I find a seat walking over to sit down on a black plush sofa chair and sigh holding my lunch in my hands "It was good my Grandmother spent most of the summer visiting with us. I read mainly on different plant capabilities" I tell her as I take out my lunch pulling out a turkey BLT sandwich. My mouth watering my eyes feeling as if they went as wide as saucers as I look it over and sink my teeth into it. I give a slight moan appreciating the hickory flavor of the bacon.

I pause my chewing "You don't have a problem if I eat in here do you? I'm sorry I forgot my manners" I ask

She smiles even bigger as if that's even possible as she folds her arms across her chest leaning against her desk she crosses her ankle over the other "No please go right ahead" she waves her hand at me "You have a way of making yourself at home don't you?"

I blush "I'm so sorry. I forgot to eat breakfast this morning and didn't even think—"

"Don't apologize Harper" cutting me off  "Did you have any problems today?" she asks

I frown and think back "None that I can think of..I tripped in the hallway" I go back to eating my sandwich ignoring the look she was giving me

"You know Harper, I've been told lying could corrupt your aura" she says playfully

I widen my eyes but I'm not lying am I? Did I get pushed or did I fall? I couldn't remember...

"I'm not lying." I reassure her

She smiles "okay but you'd let me know if anyone gave you trouble?"

I nod and sip on my water after finishing the last bite of my lunch "Can I have my medicine and take a quick rest?"

"Of course" she smiles handing me my medication

I whisper a "thank you" before taking the small round blue tablets from her throwing them into my mouth taking a drink of water I swallow. I've been taking them for as long as I can remember. I go to the back of the room walking down through a stoned slim hallway choosing the third door on the left. Sliding the door open I am greeted with a calming familiar aroma I inhale the sweet scent. I spot the plants closest to the window big hearty green leaves flare out of two blackened pots on the floor lines of purple run down the center of the leaves then spider out on each stem like a web. I walk over to them passing the hospital bed that's in the center of the room to my right hidden behind curtains. I look out the window soaking up the sunlight my eyes linger on the tops of the mountainside and then to some students sitting on the stone benches below me down in the courtyard. Turning I reach out to one of the potted plants— the one on my left running my fingers lightly along the center of the purple. It's Wolffern, I noticed from the sweet honey like aroma that filled the room known for its calming properties. Sighing I turn to the bed pulling the curtains back to closed around me before I lay down slipping under the covers a satisfied shiver runs along my spine. I would go back to class but my medicine has strong side effects on me that its better for me to take a quick rest or it causes a strange reaction that I do not wish to experience again anytime soon or in my lifetime in general. It's not like I need the classes here anyway. Mrs. Canyon—erm I mean Callie technically already offered me a position under her and I could be a graduate if I wanted but I want to be with Heidi and graduate with her. I turn on my side towards the window the light is faint behind the green curtain closing my eyes drifting into a deep sleep and for the first time I am greeted with a dream of brawny arms and midnight black hair.
