You'll Be Mine

Chapter Two

I walk as fast as I can to the nurses office. I've made it through three bells without getting noticed and without making eye contact just like Heidi said. I've only gotten pushed down once in between my second and third bell. It was time to take my medicine for my panic attacks and hopefully eat lunch since Heidi isn't here to eat with me. I walk up to the door giving it a light but stern knock

a soft "come in" comes from the other side.

I open it peeking my head in "Hello Mrs. Reynolds." I say softly

She looks up from her computer gives me a warm smile her eyes wrinkling in the corners "Harper, how was your summer?" She turns around in her desk chair her pretty slowly greying black hair is in waves over her shoulders her violet eyes look over her glasses that are pushed down to her nose

I'm fascinated by her violet eyes I've never seen eyes like hers. She's the same size as Heidi. She has the same athletic build but she's just a little taller maybe five eleven at most. I think that has something to do with her being the Luna of the pack. I sit down in her plush comfy sofa chair and sigh

"It was great other than Heidi being away most of the time for pack duties." I pout "but my granny came over and spent two months with us she showed me more on how to read people just like she does" I shrug as I take out my brown papered bag lunch pulling out a turkey BLT sandwich. My mouth watering as I look it over and sink my teeth into it. Mmm so good.

"You don't have a problem if I eat in here do you? I'm sorry I forgot my manners" I asked not realizing what I just did

she smiles even bigger "No No go right ahead. You have a way of making yourself at home don't you?"

I blush "I'm sorry"

"Don't apologize Harper. Did you have any problems today?" she asks

I frown and think back "I fell down in the hallway" I go back to eating my sandwich ignoring the look she was giving me

"You know Harper lying taints your aura" she says playfully

I widen my eyes but I'm not lying am I? Did I get pushed or did I fall? I can't remember

"I'm not lying." I assure her

She smiles "okay but you'd let me know if anyone gave you trouble?"

I nod and sip on my water "can I have my medicine and take a quick nap?"

"Of course" she smiles handing me my pills I politely thank her

I swallow the pills and make my way back to the further back. I lay down on the bed pulling the curtain around me before slipping under the covers. I would go back to class but my medicine has effects on me and I have to take a quick nap or I'll do strange things it's the reason why I have no class for fourth and fifth bell it's not like I need classes here anyway. Technically I could already be graduated but I want to be with Heidi and graduate with her. Classes I take here for school are just for excitement and to keep me busy.

I yawn as I walk with Heidi to the blazer more like she's dragging me along beside her. She opens the door I grab the handle at the top of the ceiling and pull myself in. She gets in smoothly after me honestly it sucks being the smallest wolf in the pack.

"How was your first day?"

I shrug "fine I knew all of the teachers I had from meeting them when we were initiated into the pack. I fell down once and I got to hang out in Mrs. Reynolds office" I look out the window "oh! I went to all of your classes and got your supplies lists from your teachers" I say digging through my bag until I find the stack of papers clipped together and hand it to her
