RANDHIR'S POV
"I still cant believe that we cleared the written test. Out of the 25 regions, we got selected for digital round. Tomorrow, there is will be 10 regions" I was jumping with excitement
"Yeah, I m looking forward to tomorrow's round. " she said but I couldn't trace excitement in her eyes
"What happened Sanyu? Is everything Alright?" I asked in curiosity
"Hmmm.... Just a bit tensed. What will happen tomorrow? I really wanna participate in Jenesys."
"We will go there."
"Baba randhir, can you make some further predictions?" she said and I saw her smile. She looks terribly adorable while smiling and I feel different with her. I m not scared that she would judge me, so I m the real person in front of my non-judgmental Sanyu. What did I say? My Sanyu?? She is ur friend dude. Ignore this shitty brain
"My next prediction is that u will soon find ur love, your partner with whom u will spend ur entire life" I winked at her. She didn't smile this time, instead she threw a leaf on me and narrowed her eyes
"This is never gonna happen. ME?? LOVE? Totally impossible"
"Common Sanyu, u will marry one day to ur love"
"I will do an arranged marriage"
"Why" I asked her
"Beacuse LOVE IS NOT FOR ME"
"What?? Love is for everybody. This love is unconditional affection with no limits or conditions. Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you're in love, you always want to be together, and when you're not, you're thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete. "

"Why it also causes SADNESS?" she replied in a serious tone. I had no answer.
"It means TOGETHERNESS"
"Why you also feel LONELY?"

"It is DEVOTION"

I held her wrist and pulled her towards me, "Don't u love your parents?"
"No, I don't love anybody." A great tremor overtook her. I saw drop of tears forming in her eyes which has lot to say but fears thinking about its consequences. She freed herself from my grip and wiped her tears. Soon after that, she left me alone, completely stunned by the fact she had told me just now. I wanted her to stay but... is it correct to interfere in her personal life? The gentleman inside me said. I should leave her alone for some time.
SANYU'S POV
My eyes dripped with tears. My walls, the walls that hold me up, make me strong just... collapse. Moment by moment, they fall. Salty drops fall from my chin, drenching my kurta. I cant hold them back. After reaching my room, I jumped on the bed and my eyes flood with tears, coming like a rainfall. Sniffing every ten seconds, they fall, and fall, and I let them.
NEXT MORNING
"All the participants are requested to come down for beakfast. The final round of the quiz would start at 11 am." The announcement ended
"Sanyukta, I m leaving. Come out of the bathroom and dress up." Naina mam instructed and left the room
The reason for why I m in the bathroom is that I cant show her my red eyes which clearly revels that I cried the whole night. Yes, I did. For now, I need to get down for breakfast or else I would have to go empty stomach to the competition
I covered my mouth with a handkerchief and reached the dining hall. Many people have already left for the venue since its 10:05 am. We need to reach there by 10:30 and it takes 10 mins. I could find nobody there, no sir, no mam although my eyes were looking for someone else. Where is he? Then somebody patted on my shoulder
"Good morning Sanyu" Randhir stood there with a smile. He knows it well how to make someone feel comfortable
"Good morning Randhir" I said an went to take a plate. I could not face him now as I know that if he asks me about last night thing, then I will cry my heart out. He followed me
"Take this Chole, its very yumm.. u like it na?" he ws constantly smiling. Its tough to avoid him when he is near me. Why does he care about me so much? Is this just a friendly gesture or something else? I m sure about my feelings. Spending nearly 1 month with him, I realized that I like him, yes its true. I LIKE RANDHIR. May be he is just a crush and I will get over him after the competition.
"Have u completed ur tour and back to Earth?"
"What?"
"no, u were travelling in your world of thoughts"
I smiled finally after 13 hours. He made me smile. I finished my breakfast and we went together to the venue.
"BEST OF LUCK PARTNER. This is the last round" he said
"BEST OF LUCK TO U TOO PARTNER"
Saying this, we sat in front of the computers and the Digital Round begins...................
WHAT IS IT THAT SANYUKTA IS HIDING? DOES SHE HAVE A SOMETHING TO SAY? FINALLY SHE ADMITTED THAT SHE LIKES RANDHIR. ITS NOT EASY TO AVOID OUR RD AFTER ALL.
