Better Together

Camila POV

"Camila!" was all I heard as my alarm went off early this morning. "You have to get ready for school!" my mom yelled from downstairs. Ugh I was not ready for school this morning. It's like preparing yourself for war except you don't know who the enemy is. I get out of my bed and head to the bathroom for a shower when I hear Ed sheeran Lego House fill my room. I quickly grab my phone from the dresser and answer it.

"Yo Chancho! You ready for first day of school girl" Dinah says screaming in my ear. I groan you would think she won the lottery with all this screaming. "I'm definitely not ready for the first day of school cheechee but I can see your super elated". I say and Dinah giggles loud in my ear. "What got you so excited?" I curiously ask her, I put Dinah on speaker and skim through my closet for something to wear. "Well if you must know Chancho, I checked my classes online yesterday and...I have Liam Payne for two classes this year!!" "How do you know you have him for two classes?" "Well do you know Siope from Mr. Bowel's art classroom last year?" "Yes..." I answer "well him and Liam are good friends and Liam just so happen to check his classes online and he told Siope that he have Ms. McCray for 2nd period and Mr. Evans for 5th period this year and I have Ms. McCray and Mr. Evans for the same periods and I'm so happy!!" Dinah squeals.

I set my blue skirt and red polo shirt on my bed. "Cheechee I'll see you at school, I have to take a shower and get ready before I am late" I say to Dinah. "Ok Chancho see yeah girl!"

I end the phone call with Dinah and rush to the bathroom for my shower. Just as I turn on the shower my phone rings again and I just want to pull out my hair. I quickly pick up my phone to put it on silent but I accidently press talked. "CAMZ!! Girl you ready for scho-" " Manibear I can't talk right now, I have to take a shower and get ready before I become late for school, see ya at school Mani!" I hang up and run to the bathroom for my shower. Finally

As I park in the student parking, I can see Normani and Dinah talking by Normani new purple Volvo. They both spotted my car and ran towards me screaming "Camz!!" "Chancho!!" "We miss youuuu". I try to fake run away but they attack me from both sides squeezing me tight and making me feel love.

"Omg Mani and Cheechee y'all are going to squeeze me to death!"

" Camz I miss you soo much" awe

"Yeah Chancho girl I miss you too"

" Cheechee , you were over my house three days ago.."

" So" Dinah says with pout awe

" I'm sorry Cheechee I miss you too chica" I rush and hug her tight

We start to walk towards the front entrance of the school when we hear a squeal from the back of us. Normani being the first to turn around squeals and runs towards Lauren engulfing her into a big hug.

"My Laurenza!!! I've miss you sooo much!!" Normani says with tears forming in her eyes. Mani have been really emotional, I wonder whats going on with her?

I hug her and Dinah hugs her too.

"Hey my chicas I miss y'all so much! it feels like I haven't seen yall in years! Lauren says smiling then putting on a pout.

"awe Lolo I know how you feel, its just been me and Chancho chilling this summer...soo boring" Dinah says with her bottom lip poke out

" Heeeyy" I say glaring at Dinah

" no offense to you Chancho, it just doesn't feel the same without Mani and Lolo" Dinah shrugs

"awe guys well the gang is back together" Lauren says as she grab Normani hand and squeezes it feeling Normani tense a little
