SUNDAY..........
The birds from the tree right outside my room woke me up. I moved straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and have my face washed. After that, I moved down to the kitchen to wash the dishes from yesterday's dinner. After a while, my mom walked in.
Wondering why I'm doing the dishes and why not the maids? We prefer not to employ maids because my dad almost got killed through poisoning by a business rival through a maid who had been working here for 5 years. Since that incident, maids were forbidden in our house.
"My girl is always hard working," she said standing beside me.
Blushing I said, "Good morning, mom."
"I'm sure you had a good night?" She walked in and leaned on the washing sink
"Very well, mom."
"What are my two most beautiful ladies chit chatting about?" Dad said from behind.
"Nothing much." Mom's cheeks turned pink.
"Lana dear, let me prepare breakfast while you go have your shower," mom said looking for something in the locker.
I dried my hands and headed to my room. I took a shower and did all the brush up and I was ready for breakfast. The aroma I perceived while coming downstairs created a warfront in my tommy.
"This smells good," I said while hurrying to have a seat so I can have a taste of the Pasta made by mom
Mom and dad chorused, "You will never change, hurry up so we won't be late for church." They both laughed.

The service was a successful one and the sermon was just perfect. After which all teens were asked to leave so the adults could have their Holy Offerings. We left and I decided to stay behind in Lucy's house while waiting for my parents.
Derek walked towards us and I got to introduce Lucy and Derek to Nora.
"Can I talk to you for a minute, privately?" Nora asked looking all serious.
"S-sure." I was confused.
We walked some distance away from them.
"That guy isn't good for you," she started, making me feel lost in some way.
"He seems to me as a player. He looks at you with so much lust in his eyes." What would make her think this way?
"I'm speechless." I manage to say looking confused.
"I'm not sure if I'm right but I don't trust him," she said looking towards Derek's direction with a stern look.
Her words kept ringing in my ears which got my head spinning.
